Once again, we find ourselves in yet another chapter of Gamer of The Multiverse. Sorry for making you all wait practically a month before the next upload. I've been busy with my original story, as well as other stories, lol.
Aside from that, I'll be completely honest when I'm saying that I never planned for this to get AS popular as it has. I guess Gamer Fics are really popular. Who woulda thunk it?
Okay, no, but seriously? Thank you guys SO much for supporting this as much as you all have been. I mean, seriously, the start of this school year (also my last! Yippe!) has been SO much more tolerable with you guys liking this. When I first put this stuff to digital paper, this was like, my last shot at creating a new fanfic before I finished one of my previous works, Dynamite and a Laserbeam, and I'm so happy that this has been received so well! So, once again, thank you!
Now, moving on from my sappy crap, it's time to respond to some reviews/comments!
[My Response to reviews/comments!]
(Qoutev) Akuji the Shsl magical girl: First of all, I gotta say, when you changed your username, I almost thought that you were a new person. Anyway, I'm glad this is meeting up to your expectations, and I hope to continue to do so in the future!
(Qoutev) Nathan: What can I say? An "Overlord of Ice" is being taught by someone with a fire spell, what could possibly go wrong?
(Qoutev) Taco Sensei: Ah, yes, I'm glad you actually noticed that. Basically, it's because her Endurance Stat is at 34. Before she started levelling up, she had the endurance/pain tolerance of a normal human. If I were to compare her to another character's level of endurance/pain tolerance, I'd say she's now more along the lines of Season 1 basic hardening Kirishima (I'm sorry, I can't think of anything else). So yeah, when Natsumi punched her, she felt those punches like any normal human would. Now she can tank basic punches and bullets. While they still pierce her skin, they don't really *hurt* her that much, if you catch my drift. I hope that makes sense.
(Ao3) Nemali [From Prologue – Where it all began]: Thank you for your kind words! I hope you continue to read this! I would love to hear your opinions about everything else!
Onxio: I mean, you're pretty close to what the actual Harem is going to look like. However, as much as I do love me some Yuri Harem, I'm afraid that we're not doing a FULL Yuri Harem. Jolyne IS bi-sexual after all. She has two hands for the two different sexes.
Kolt999: Yes, I did have that pictured in my head while writing that sentence. And yes, I fully intend to kill those wastes of human space. But, for now, you must be patient. Also, I JUST started watching their playthrough of Trigger Happy Havoc about... two hours before writing this response. Gotta say, their style of comedy is right up my alley!
Xmasboss: No worries! It does kinda annoy me too when Gamer fics start stripping away the fact that their character IS Human unless expressly stated otherwise. As for the stories that have inspired mine, well, there are a couple. For one, there's The Optimistic Gamer by: Milnir, then there's Playing for Keeps by: BackslashEcho. The final inspiration for this fic was actually Dovah VS Dogs – Redux. Outside of those, most of this is mainly from my own head, and the way I'm using The System is more of my own interpretations, mixed with the funny wit of The Optimistic Gamer. But, yeah! Those are the stories that inspired me to write this! I hope this satisfies your curiosity.
LordNimmu: I think I made it clear that when she was picking her faction (in chapter 2) that she was looking at the stat boosts, plus her own personal preference when it came to her favourite class in RPGs, that being the mage. Choosing her morality had nothing to do with her choice of faction. That being said, I do understand where you're coming from. Most Gamer Fics make their OCs as evil as possible, or as much of a goody-two-shoes as possible.
