The girl wielding her sword stands firmly as she assures her battle stance while breathing heavily.
"Don't understimate us humans." The girl said.
"Humans are weird but they do taste great." The voice came from in front of the girl.
It was another girl though she's a much more smaller than the former and has red eyes and blonde hair.
She may be a little girl but something is different about her and that is...
She's not a human but rather a yokai, a man eating one.
The girl who has a hair of silver-white seems to be injured and can be seen struggling in maintaining her battle posture.
Her forehead seems to be bleeding slightly and she has bruises. What could possibly have happened to her to be in this state?
Judging from the presence of many trees. They might be in a forest.The wind is howling and there are no signs of animals in the forest as they already fled. The only thing that's left is the hunter and its supposed prey.
No matter how she look at it. There will be a fight and it's not going to be pretty.
"If you're that serious in eating me, then step forward and attack! I'll take you on!" The silver-white haired girl yelled.
Her provocation to the yokai was seemingly accepted.
"Is that so~?" This is only the yokai's reply before slowly walking towards her.
As the yokai slowly approach, the area around them is starting to dim or rather being engulf in the darkness.
It is within a matter of time before their surrounding is all but darkness. One could say it is like it is like time has sped up and its already late evening.
The darkness in her field of vision is growing larger as it approach.
'It feels like it's going to swallow me up...'
The sword wielding girl felt the darkness slowly encroaching her.
There is no escape not with her current condition. The only option is to either fight or die.
Normally people in this situation will feel fear but not her. What she felt is the determination to survive and reach her goals. She will not let it end here.
She will not take away her eyes from the threat nor will she blink as the moment she do, might as well be her last.
"A yokai that can control the darkness..." The girl quietly muttered as she braces herself for the inevitable fight for her life.
