Hello My name is Anne and I am 12 and I live in England. It is the year 2002 and I am the daughter of a scientist. My dad has this room in the house with his findings in and lots of files and papers along with his laptop. Daddy's name is Paul, I also have a sister who is 14 called Cerys,she likes to study a lot but she is quite boring. However I am a bit of a nutter as I love going out on the fields around our house and looking for buried treasure. For my birthday last year I got the X520-Metal detector so now I won't go far without it.
It is Sunday afternoon and I have to wash my hair ready for school tomorrow but my Mum (Vanessa) said I could have one last hunt around our field. The field is behind a thin hedge in our garden so we can slip through the hedge into the field. Walkers often use the field as a short cut as on the other side of the field is a pub. It just means if you would rather not go around the whole field and cut through it you can.
