A dark and stormy night leads a person down a mysterious path, where they meet a familiar stranger
This story is a practice story so it might not be great but like IDK maybe it's good
(I'll out a warning if there's smut but I don't really write stuf...
(English ain't my first language💀) I never thought we'd cross paths again much less in a situation like this, but part of me always knew this would happen. Especially considering our history...
It was a dark and stormy night unlike most that occurred in my city. The sound of raindrops filled my mind it was relaxing, peaceful and calm. The soothing melody was disrupted by loud thunder and abrupt ligtning. The sharp winds pierced my face like a sword making me squint my dark brown eyes, as I walked down the pavement aimlessly uncertain of where to go or what to do. I had nothing, no where to go I was truly lost in every sense of the word. I proceeded to walk before nearing sight of a familiar neighborhood I thought nothing of it and continued on my pointless journey. "Winny! Is that you?" I heard a familiar voice call out, only one person called me by that name... "Danny!?" I questioned turning back to catch a glance at the person standing behind me.
Daniel was one of my old friends but I would speculate that we were more. She had dark blue box braids, her eyes were hazel the type you get lost in and she had the prettiest smile known to Earth. She was the type of girl to wear pink dresses and skirts. She had this sparkle in her eye that drove me nuts and she was always good at analyzing people, which makes sense given she's a phsych major. I however was the opposite I had short dark black hair with a tint of blue, dark brown eyes that almost seemed soulless and tired and a devilish grin that made me seem smug and frightening. I was the type to wear dark clothes at every chance and was a bit too sarcastic when it came down to it. (daniels hair also this woman is soo fine🦋✨)

I walked into her apartment, drenched in rain water. I hung my coat up before sitting on the couch. "What where you doing out there Winifred?" she said a concerned look on her face, ouch she never uses my government name she must be worried. "I was just taking a walk." I stated calmly. "Taking a walk in the middle of a storm!" she exclaimed her tone a bit more tense then before. "I wanted to clear my head, and why do you care I thought you wanted nothing to do with me after what happened" I said. "Winny I know we haven't talked much since then but I still care about you." she said as her eyes pierced through mine with her golden gaze. My knees became weak as I stared into her hazel eyes she has the ability to immobilize me with a single glance a power I both loved and hated."I... I should probably get going" I said finally breaking free from her trance. "Wait! You should probably spend the night, that storm isn't ending anytime soon. " she said seemly desperate to get me to stay. I agreed reluctantly uncertain of what this could mean for us but I chose not to think too much of it. I set up the couch with pillows and blankets and got ready to sleep."Goodnight Danny" I said softly before dozing off. "Goodnight my love" Daniel said in response already aware that I couldn't hear her.
