"Dumbledore — you can't. I've been watching them all day. You couldn't find two people who are less like us. And they've got this son — I saw him kicking his mother up the street, screaming for sweets. Harry Potter come and live here!"
"It's the best place for him," Dumbledore said stiffly.

McGonagall shook her head and kept looking at those awful muggles' house, she could hear the television from their house. "I won't allow this Albus — you are sending a boy who our whole world depends on to save us from —him, here? Of all places?" She said with tears in her eyes.

Albus looks down avoiding her eyes which he hadn't seen so sad since she lost her husband. She waited for an answer but he never looked her in the eyes, she looked into the sky to see what seemed to be a flying motorcycle.

"Is that... Hagrid?" She asked, Dumbldore nodded and walked over to the machine when it landed. "Do you have him Hagrid?" He asked the half-giant, Hagrid opened up the makeshift sling to show a sleeping Harry. "Little feller fell asleep on the way here," Hagrid said chuckling.

Minerva grabbed the child and started rocking it back and forth getting a good glimpse of the scar. "May I have him, McGonagall?" Dumbledore asked her with his arms out. "You're going to leave him here though I can't let him live like this" she said tears forming and going down her cheek. "What do you say we do then? he has no living relatives." He says.

     "I'll raise him then."
