Third person's POV

Izanami sighed I believe everyone is informed on what we should do for now.

Liliana replied We have to find a way out and regroup with everyone. The Woodelf nodded Let's just hope we don't come across anything unearthly under this mountain.

Relia landed on the ground, she could still faintly sense the Woodelves' mana in the blocked cave entrance How am I ever going to obtain the pendant? Also,...

She looks straight at the mountain. As the former queen, she knows what exactly this place is, she chuckled sardonically Seems like they won't be coming out in one piece. If they do, I'll be waiting on the other side for them.

A Dark Elf went near her Queen Relia, what should we do now? We can't pursue them now.

No need to worry, there are two entrances in this mountain, if they're clever, they'll find and get out from there. We better move, we have long ways to go.

Third person's short POV

She, or, it lay in the middle of a cavern. The walls are riddled with vines blooming with red flowers, emitting a sweet smell in the area.

She sensed mana from where they usually enter that her eyes fluttered awake. When she opened them, yellow eyes with slit pupils are gleaming with anticipation.

Visitors.

Stein's POV

I heard Sis just sneeze that she commented Let's just move, this cramped space is dusty.

The Woodelf Lorden said Let's follow this path for now. Four of their mages had the top of their staff glowing bright in the inky darkness of the area.

We moved off, every one of us is aware for the slightest danger. After just a short distance from where we were, the tunnel became wide enough for us not to walk in a single file.

We progressed further and the tunnels began to twist and turn but there's one thing that we noticed.

Sylvana moved to the tunnel wall to look closer How unusual. Sis added How could there be plants beneath the earth?

We stopped walking for a moment to observe the flowers that are growing on the vines that is covering the wall. I could hear Lorden say It could be a rare type of flower but I still have an unusual feeling about all this.

One of the Woodelves said to him Don't be so pessimistic, Lorden, it could be a good sign as well.

What good sign?

That we might be close to an exit, maybe the source of this plant is somewhere outside and the vines just creeped their way in here.

The three of us moved closer to them, he's silent for a few seconds then shrugged You're probably right but this place is getting me.

We moved forward, the vines in the wall keep getting thicker as we move on until we could no longer see the rocky wall.

We abruptly stopped for there is trembling on the ground, then another one, and another one. As if something is hitting the floor to make the area shake.

One of the Woodelves said I wonder what is causing this? I hope none of the others came across trouble.

We continued walking again and the shaking still continued.
