Callux

It was a brand new day in the mostly empty apartment, Callux woke up on the queen sized mattress that was on the floor, starting hard meant doing things from the beginning and working towards that goal, Callux really didn't feel like getting out of bed, but the cold air running through his house as the cold air outside was seeping through the cracks of his apartment, he really liked the cold but considering he didn't have much to cover up with to fight it, was bothering him rather than soothing him to sleep.

Callux apartment wasn't big but it was the best apartment he could ask for, in Callux sleepy eyes he could see his door to the right of him swayed slightly open as he left it last night, Callux sat up letting the cold air embrace his bare chest and body making him shiver all over debating on whether he would like to get up, Callux made the decision to get up to at least to explore the chilly town on his first day, moving his feet to the floor Callux felt another shiver throughout his body as the floor was equally cold as the air, he walked over to his suitcase picking out some clothes to wear today thankfully for packing his winter clothes

After doing what he usually does Callux finally dwelled on the fact that he would soon have to face the facts or to say the boxes to unpack where he wanted everything, it was unusual as his mother always had the say to where she wanted everything, but being on his own made him feel like an adult for once, there was boxes near the door where the movers put, that Callux left some last night only moving boxes where the needed to be like the kitchen boxes were still untouched on the white counters, you would think he would be moving out by the look of it.

Callux looked for his keys, wallet, and phone to head out the door, luckily he did have a car to drive him where he wanted to go since he really didn't know where he needed to go, saving his apartment address on his GPS he headed in a random direction, he drove for at least 20 minutes looking for anything, until he came across this little cafe, it was quite beautiful, Callux parallel park his car, staring at the building it had bed flowers at the window specifically Lilies which were surprisingly still alive in the harsh cold weather it had pink chairs and pink tables it was very lively, considering the time spent staring at the building Callux got out the car locking it and walking into the building.

"Wow it's even more better inside" Callux mumbles under his breath walking up to the counter that was even more colorful like someone was really focused on making it look like an art piece, it was also warm inside not too hot or cold 

Callux looked at the menu waiting for someone to serve him but he didn't mind he was taking in the menu it had different varieties but Callux being him decided on a mocha latte and a sausage and egg croissant something very simple

finally after some time a woman named 'Freya' walked up to the register she had bangs her hair was kinda brown she had light brown eyes was kinda skinny 

"Hey welcome, what can I get you today?" It wasn't cheery, it was perfectly balanced between calm and boredom but Callux didn't mind it

"Uh, yes can I get a mocha latte with a sausage and egg croissant please and that would be it?" Callux said in a kinda question way like he wasn't sure on what exactly he wanted but knew what he wanted.

Freya laughed which Callux joined with a quiet chuckle

"You new around here? I never seen you before, I can tell when new people are around"

"Is it really obvious?, I don't really know what I'm doing" Callux joked

"Yep totally obvious, it would be 12.81" Freya said with a bounce to her words 

Callux pulled out 13 dollars to give to Freya, after giving Freya the money for his food his stomach was really excited about getting food it was the first meal of the day and Callux was beyond excited even if it was for food.
