Beast kings (Inu/Yasha/hime)

"Kami... the more I look the more he looks like you, Spirit." Toga said to his friend by looking at their 6 years old quarter human son who grew his demon features with beautiful, wavy orange, purple and blue fur, a tricolorus horn crown and blue scales, sitting between their knees "You did such a great job."
"Well, Dori and Luc did, I didn't do much." Spirit, in the form of a full fledged dragon demon, answered by blushing.
"Don't be so modest, just look at him." Kirinmaru followed "He's like you when you were that age."
"A beautiful little boy just like Mama! He's just so cute!" Rion cooed by holding him in her arms.
"You guys are so sweet." Spirit thanked "Orion, what do we say?"
"Oh... Um... thank you very much." The little boy answered by bringing his little qilin tail close to his chest as Toga giggled.
"What's gotten into you?" Kirinmaru asked.
"Nothing. It's just... this was you when you were younger, man."
"Father talked like that?" Rion questioned.
"My dear Rion, if you knew!" Spirit answered "Back in the day, when I was a Beast Queen myself, I can swear that Toga was an innocent child, okay? and Kirinmaru was... literally a Prince, all dandy and stuff! And then role reversal happened."
"Hey listen, I knew that I'd have great responsibilities! Mind as well be prepared early!"
"When we were like what? 7?" Toga teased.
"Why you...! Death didn't change you one bit." His rival grumbled.
"Neither did you, mister power."
"You guys look ridiculous." Spirit scoffed with a teasing grin on her face.
"Say that again I dare you!" Kirinmaru ordered.
"What did I say? Sorry, I forgot!" She answered by sticking her tongue out.
"What kind of liar are you?" Toga followed.

As they kept arguing like teens hanging out, all Rion could do was enjoy the show with Orion who was looking at her dad "Rion?"
"Mmhm?"
"Is your Papa really a pirate like it's told in the legends?" He asked with wonder in his eyes.
"Oh well, not really, father is more of a traveler than a pirate. He saw everything all around the world, from humans to demons and even Guardians like you. Actually, he's a little like you, a sea traveler always looking for new adventures."
"I'm like Kirinmaru?" Orion asked with his eyes beaming.
"In some ways, yes you are Niji!" She answered with a smile.
"This... this is so cool! Will I be strong like him one day?"

As she answered him, the Beast trio listened to them "Well would you look at that, we found your number one fan, Kirin." Toga teased.
"This is so cute! He's such a sweet child." Spirit cooed with pride.
"Hey, he didn't get that from nowhere." Kirinmaru answered by nudging her before feeling something at his feet. "What the?" He thought as he lowered his head, to meet with the little qilin boy who looked up at him with admiration.
"You really traveled through the seven seas?" He asked, all excited.
"Well... Yeah, we can say it like that." He answered a little bit embarrassed.
"Oh father, can you tell him this story? I'm sure he'll love it!" Rion suggested.
"Um... well..." he started.
"Pleeeaaaaase?" The little qilin asked.
"Heh, okay, okay."
"Yay! Rion! I wanna hear your stories too!"
"Okay! Okay, sweetie. We'll do one thing at a time."

And so they started to tell him their travels as Orion looked at them with admiration and wonder. Spirit and Toga could only smile as they headed outside of Spirit's temple, at the foot of Mount Musubi, in the garden to give them some privacy. "That little boy is really something."
"Yeah, my... our son is... wonderful." She answered by mentioning Dorianne and Lucas.
