after the breakup part 1

You and your S/o just broke up after a huge argument that went on for ages and after the fight your ex left leaving you on the floor crying so you get back up wiping your tears and heading to your room to message your best friend Mully. You lay on your bed with your phone in your hand still wiping your tears away and after a bit you message Mully to come over. Not even 10 minutes after you messaged him you hear him knocking at the door "heyy you home still?" He asks as he waits for you to open the door then you run down stairs and open the door "hey Mully thanks for coming over in short notice" you give him a little smile "ok what happen? Where's that asshole? I just knew something would happen between you! No offence" he says barging into the house "Mully it's fine he's gone he left ages ago" you say as you walk to the couch trying so hard not to cry again "well did you want to talk about it? You know I'll listen" he says with a grin "is it ok if I tell you later? I was hoping you could comfort me with cuddles since I know you give the best cuddles" you smile gently as you lay your head on his shoulder "of course I can cuddle you sweetheart! I hate seeing you like this" he puts his arm around you and starts to play with your hair then rests his head on yours. Eventually you both fall asleep cuddling until you hear knocking coming from the door and realised it's your now ex boyfriend yelling at you from outside Because he noticed mullys car outside "shit Mully wake up!" You basically shake him awake "hm? What's wrong?" He says with a sleepy tone "it's him." You then see Mully get up fast and walk to the door "wait!! Let me handle this Mully he is my ex after all" you said walking towards him "please for the love of god be careful and if he tries to hurt you just call out my name and I'll help!" You nod and gave Mully a quick hug then walked to the front door "why are you back here?!?!" You yell as you walk out the door "well I came back to apologize but then saw your fat best friends car outside!!" Once you heard your ex say that your blood started to boil and you turned your hand into a first "hes here to comfort me asshole he's done nothing wrong and don't you dare say he's fat he's perfect the way he is!" You walk over to your ex while fighting the urge to punch them "what are you gonna do huh? I see your hand getting ready to punch me. Go on do it bitch!" You stopped walking over and started to laugh "what's so funny creep?" You turn to the door and see Mully peaking out then look back at your ex "well I'm not gonna be the one hitting you... He is" you look back at Mully "Mully help me they were trying to hit me!!" You yell out to Mully and he runs out and grabs your exs shirt collar "you dare lay a finger on her and I'll just have to break it!" He says with his face right up in front of your ex and you saw a glimpse of your exs face and their terrified "she doesn't need a prick like you in her life and don't ever think she'll alway be here waiting for you because I can tell you right now she wants nothing to do with you!"he says then he violently let's go of the shirt collar and leans his face to your exs ear "she'll be mine" then Mully walks away grabbing you by the arm and dragging you back inside "this won't be the last time you'll see me mully" you two finally get inside and you start to tear up again and your hands uncontrollably shake "hey it's ok I promise he won't hurt you again!" He grabs you and hugs you tight "how do you know that Mully? He knows where I live, he knows where I work, he basically knows everything about me" you say as you slowly loosen his grip on you but he quickly places his hand on your cheek "look I know you don't believe me when I say that but I mean it he won't hurt you again" you softly smile "ok Mully I believe you just don't get yourself into trouble ok? I know what your like" you giggle a bit and he smiles brightly "now how about we go back to my place I can tell you now he doesn't know where I live just... Turn your location off" his smile faded as he said that and you start to worry but agree anyway. You two drive to mullys house and your greeted by Milky and Felix jumping all over you "hey puppies! It's been a while and you both look grown up" you smile but then noticed Mully looking at you grinning "you have a staring problem or something Mully?" You get back onto your feet and laugh "no I'm just admiring you, your very admirable" he looks at you in the eyes as he says that which gave you butterflies *mind: "no no no you can't catch feelings for him! He's your best friend"* he walks over to the kitchen and opens the fridge "you want dinner? I'll cook up pasta" he starts to pull out the ingredients and prepares them together "I forgot you used to be a chef!" You lean against the table and grab a piece of tomato to chew on then he grabs your hand "Hey! Leave that for the pasta" he laughs and then continues to make dinner.
