chapter 9

                               Merlin’s suspicions

     Merlin’s pov:

I have my suspicions about Morgana’s sister Morgause. She seems untrustworthy and a bit odd. I may just have to intervene and put a stop to whatever she may be up to.  In fact I will confront her about whatever she is up to.

So I walked up, “ Morgause! What exactly is your plan to handle the king? And what does Morgana have to do with it?”

I don't appreciate the idea of my love being used for anything.

Morgause turns and smiles, “ you'll just have to wait and see Merlin. I can assure you she will reign for a long while. You'll be free, by the way What are you to her?”

“ I'm her lover, why do you wanna know?” i say.

“ Well Merlin, she is my sister after all. Of Course i would want to know who you are to her, and I'll say this one thing: you hurt her and you die.”

Should I feel threatened by this mysterious woman, if anything I feel irritated.

“ well morgause ill say this, i would never dream of hurting her. She's so precious. I don't deserve her that's for sure. you need never worry about that.”

“ Why do you feel you don’t deserve my sister merlin?” she asks.

“ She's too pure; she sees only the good despite all she's been through. She's kind and caring always willing to help others regardless of status.'' I say, trying my best to explain the wonderful woman I love.

“ well Merlin gotta say you are humble that's for sure.”

“Morgana has a plan what it is i don't know. She was about to tell me before we had to run. But i take it you have your own plans.”

“ you guessed right but i wont bother you with them. all i will say is morgana will be queen. And magic will be free. So your either with or against us.”

“ you needn't worry, I'm all in what Morgana wants i want.”
“ good very good. I expect that you will protect Morgana through and through. “ she says with hope in her eyes.

“ Yes, you needn't worry about Morgana. I'll take care of her and will treat her with the utmost respect.”

I walk away to find Morgana leaving morgause behind. I lay my suspicions for now. We need to discuss plans the king has reigned for to long already.
