Link had liked zelda for a year when they were in the 3rd grade. He always had admired her. Once she came to his school the year before he couldn't take his eyes off of her. She was always willing to be his partner for any work that needed partners. He's always had the chance to ask her out but she was always with midna. He was close to doing it at lunch one day but midna came butting in.
One day at recess,he was finally able to do it. Zelda got midna to stay still somewhere while she went to link. "Ok. Midna stayed still finally so i can talk to you. What did you wanna tell me?" She asked. Link felt blush rise onto his face.
He felt like he was gonna lose another chance to ask her out and lose her all together. He finally looked at her. "Zel,do you wanna go out with me?" He asked. Zelda ended up blushing at the nickname he had called her.
She smiled at him. "Of course! I would love to!" She exclaimed. He smiled at her as she ran back to midna. Midna looked at link with a thumbs up.
