A sudden loud explosion. A bus burning. People screaming for their lives. Some of them just disintegrated. A horrible sight. Pieces of metal going in all directions. The rubber wheels now nothing more than burning pieces of trash that roll.
A rubber wheel spinning round and round like a coin. Slowly slowing down, till it hits the floor with a thud.
A little boy surrounded by the flames of the bus. He steps out of the flames… revealing the individual known as “Cedrick Penitente”. His face full of of hatred… his fists ready to destroy anything in sight. He steps on the head of a barbecued body of a boy. The boy’s head reduced to ashes and gets blown away by the wind. Cedrick walks away from the chaos like an angel of death.
“Mommy… d… daddy…” says an innocent victim of the bus explosion. His body buried in the pieces of metal that was once a bus. Only his head and right hand sticking out. “H… Help me…”
Cedrick turned back. The cry for help seemed to annoy him.
“Hahahahaa… I feel so strong now and you feel so weak. What a pity,” said Cedrick. “HA! That’s what you get for mocking me and stepping on me!!! YOU ARE ALL THE SAME!!! YOU AND ALL YOU HUMANS ARE A DISEASE!!! YOU ALL MUST PERISH!!!”
Cedrick pointed his right hand at the innocent victim. A black aura surrounding Cedrick’s arm.
“DIE YOU EVIL PEOPLE!!! DIE!!! DIE!!! DIIIIIEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!”
A black-violet energy ball came out of Cedrick’s hand and went toward the innocent victim.
Cedrick got surprised as he saw the ball stop. He was also surprised when he saw a feminine figure standing in between the energy ball and the innocent victim, trying to deflect the black energy force ball.
The force ball afterwards, went towards an electrical post. The post fell to the ground. The livewires got exposed.
Cedrick looked more closely at the being who deflected his energy attack.
“No… It can’t be?!? Bell… Belldandy?!? Why did you?!?”
“Cedrick, please stop this nonsense,” said Belldandy. “I don’t wanna fight you. Please stop, my friend.”
“Y… YOU!!! YOU LIAAAARRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!” Cedrick told Belldandy. “I thought we’re friends. Right now I’m doing this because of you. Because they did not respect you so I…”
“CEDRICK!” said Belldandy. Such a harsh tone for someone who is always in a good mood and with a loving heart. “Why??? How could you? I don’t like to see people die… I also don’t wanna fight you… so please…”
“And you just did fight me!” yelled Cedrick. “In spite of me fighting for you?!?”
Cedrick’s rage continued to come out. His black energy aura got darker. The cemented road underneath Cedrick’s feet started to crack.
“YOU LIED TO ME!!!” Cedrick’s tears rolled down his eyes. “IM GONNA KILL YOU ALONG WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!”
Cedrick charged at the goddess. His hands encompassed with a deadly black aura that can disintegrate anything in its path.
Belldandy only blocked them with her long staff and avoided Cedrick’s attacks, to show him that she doesn’t wanna fight.
“You love these people don’t you?” said Cedrick. “You just fooled me!!! YOU HYPOCRITE! You told me to keep promises and you did not!!! You just betrayed me!!! NOBODY is my friend now… ever since!!!” Cedrick tried to hit her with more determination than ever.
Belldandy felt Cedrick’s hate and confusion as she blocked Cedrick’s attacks with her staff. Cedrick’s energy made contact with her staff, since she is holding it, she also felt the extreme hate and evil Cedrick’s energy is wielding.
“What is this? So evil… so diabolical… This can’t be the Cedrick I know of?!?”
Belldandy’s ponytail was caught by Cedrick because some of her attention was focused on Cedrick’s hate. She was hurled into the broken electrical post and the livewires sent 25000 volts electricity right into her body.
Cedrick watched as Belldandy was getting fried by the electrical current.
“Now you’re gonna die!” said Cedrick. “I should have known you are just the same as those classmates of mine. You know what I was thinking when I blew up that bus? HA! You know, I was thinking about you… I did THAT FOR YOU… Because you were kind to me and all… Because you encouraged me… BUT NOW… YOU’ve BETRAYED ME AND LEFT ME ALL ALONE!!! HOW COULD YOU?!?”
Cedrick charged up another energy ball and hurled it at Belldandy who is currently getting fried by the electrical current.
A loud explosion again. Cedrick could only see a mixture of black energy mixed with electrical current. He could only smell the fire and electricity around… no smell of Belldandy whatsoever.
