I'm in love with a monster

I'm home

I never thought I'd be back here. After being gone or 16 years...I didn't want to come back. My mom got a new job in the wonderful city of Denver. She said, "you can reconnect with your home, maybe see your dad ,make friends"
I have those, and I haven't spoken to that man In years. I started getting ready to go to this new school. Not sure what will happen but we'll figure it out. I go to my closet, grab some ripped jeans and a  mcr (my chemical romance) shirt and my leather jacket. I do my makeup and straighten my short brown hair.

God I hope today goes well.
I really want it to.

"Amber!!!!! Breakfast is ready. You need to come on!!!!"

"Okay mom!!"

I finish up and head down stairs, and see my mom standing there with the sunlight hitting her perfectly. My mom works at the hospital, she doesn't really get out much so maybe her being here will help.
I finish eating and head out the door. Get in my car and start driving to school.

*30 min later*

I walk inside and head straight to the office. Get my schedule and make my way to class.

"Ughhh watch it you bitch"

I hear a snarky girl say. I look and she is pale....like paper white. She had a black dress on, and God she looked like a bitch.

"Sorry...i-im new I was just trying to figure out where I'm going."

She scoffed at me, " whatever, just stay out of my way! Come on Jeffy"

I look to see who she is talking about, and there he is...he looks so shy and beat down, and like he could snap at any minute. He hasn't even looked up at me. As I turn to walk away I see him glance up. I will be honest with you, I wasn't ready for what I had seen. But he's so beautiful.....

I snap out of it and finish out the rest of the day. I  go home, lay on the bed, and think about the boy I seen today... slowly dozing off....
