[ Tell Me What's Inside Your Mind, Truth Or Lie ]
The bus stop was the closest location that Jeonghan could spot from having a late dinner at a fine dining with his parents.
He never would've needed that bus stop to satisfy himself with a smoke if it wasn't for that dinner with his parents where almost all the topic were about him.
His parents willingly cared too much, about his future, about what they thought and believed that he needed to do in his age, not that he hated it, but having too much of it doesn't really sound that good for him, even for everyone else at least, and it all just began when he decided to move out from his parents house and started to live alone.
He knew that he shouldn't let people come inside his life so easily, even from all the times in the past, yet looking at her sitting beside him, he didn't know if it was the cigarette that was having some effects on him, but he had numerous sorts of ideas going around his mind, on his present troubles, and it contained her in it.
He slightly shook his head with a faint snicker, already detesting his ideas just by even imagining them. The last thing that he actually wanted to happen was to involve other people in his own issues.
Without any apparent reason, or maybe a tad of the way how he noticed her gazing at him whenever he blows a smoke, he asked, "Are you going to ask me why I smoke?"
She slowly shook her head. "I don't feel the need to."
"Great.", He beamed, thinking that she wasn't as curious as he ought her to be, which was unlike most people. "Almost everybody who sees me smoke ask why I do."
"Do you hate it?"
His eyes just remained on her. "Yeah, I do."
"Then if I ask you, would you hate me?"
It was a type of question that he had never been asked before. It took him a matter of seconds to think of the bestest way to answer. Perhaps, if things would've been different, maybe saying that he wouldn't, would sound more reasonable.
"I would."
To some degree, her lips pursed. "Do you always find it easy to speak your mind?"
"I do. What else do I have to say other than what's on my mind, right?", It was the exact reply he had in mind, yet for unknown reasons, voicing them out seemed heavy, most especially when she was there listening.
She sighed defeatedly, straying her eyes away from his existence. "Are you aware of how heedless you are with your words?"
She was quite certain that once and for all, it would be their last talk, the last time that they would ever encounter each other again, for that reason, she could only care less of what she tells him.
If anything, the one last thing that she wanted from him was to know on how it's so easy for him to be ignorant of others' feelings.
Jeonghan took a lot of time looking at her, his face expressionless yet there was something about it that was telling that he had many thoughts going around his mind, which was actually the case.
He could ask the same thing about her.
"Now that you said it, I think I am.", Gradually, his face eerily went serious. "Words sometimes hurts. But you know what hurts more?"
She just looked at him, at the way how his face was telling her that what she was about to hear was something she should keep in mind.
"Making someone expect and uintentionally hurting them more because of those words not being said."
