𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧. That's all the time the Red Room agent needed to kidnap the little girl. One minute she was walking right next to her mother, Lily Potter and the next she had disappeared. The Potters had called the muggle police, the Aurors, and even informed Dumbeldore, but no one was able to find their missing daughter.
After the incident, the Potters decided it was best to put away her things and not talk about her. Lily and James believed that their little angel was dead. Lily never forgave herself for taking her eyes off her child. Maybe if she payed attention, this would have never happened. They could've been a perfect family.
Years passed, and Harry grew up without his sister going to Hogwarts. Lily and James despised the fourth of August. In fact, they dreaded the month. It reminded them of what their family could've been if Aurora had gone missing. The married couple vowed they would only cry for their lost flower the fateful day it happened seventeen years ago.
And that day just happened to be today. The couple was sititng next to the window, holding each other and mourning for the loss of their daughter. Tears poured down Lily's eyes. "Why, James!? Why did it have to be her?" The woman cried out in her husband's chest. "I'm sorry, James. If only I had waited for you to come home—"
"Don't blame yourself, Lils," James whispers and kisses his wife's forehead softly. "Blame the one who took her," The man loos around the room wondering if it was some kind of sick twisted joke. Alas, it wasn't. This day marked 13 years since their flower had gone lost. 13 painful torturing years. "It's their fault that we're in this situation. That—"
James was cut off by a flicker of gold light. The light revealed a letter that opened itself and dropped in front of the two. The couple glanced at each other wearily. "Careful, James. It could be enchanted,"
James nodded absentmindedly and opened the letter. He began reading it out loud, and the words surprised both of them.

𝙎.𝙎"James?" Lily asks, "Do you suppose that this is real?"
"I- I don't know, Lily. How could this person possibly know where Aurora is?" James exclaimed in outrage. "Remus, Sirius and I searched for years!"
"Honey, calm down. It says that our friends are going to be there. There isn't any harm in going, is there?" Lily looks to her husband.
James sighs and looks down at Lily. He could see the dash of hope in her eyes. Maybe they could see their daughter once again.
