"I'm not scared of Gray," Teddy admitted with arms crossed, he rolled his eyes at even the thought.

"Oh really," Rowan persisted with a stupid smile, "Not in the slightest?" He persisted uncomfortably, even if Teddy was in the tiniest bit scared of Gray, it was with good reason and he'd never admit to it. The other looked at him through eyes narrowed due to the shit-eating grin that covered his face. Rowan was really enjoying Teddy's pause.

"Nope."

Rowan sighed, almost as if he were willing to let the topic rest. However, this was Rowan he was talking about, he'd never drop the topic. At least, not until he got a definitive answer. Teddy watched curiously as the gears in Rowan's head turned, he had something on his mind. Yet he'd been adamant about not bringing it up. Which, in itself, was rather annoying. "Guess you won't mind hanging out with him today," Rowan's smirk held a subliminal aspect, one that would be all too difficult to read into. Discovering the true meaning would take far too long.

"What do you mean?" He asked, anxiously running a hand through his hair. It had gotten longer lately, blonde strands fell half-haphazardly in front of his eyes, partially obscuring his view. For a moment, the thought of cutting his hair lingered in his mind. As if it was an, often times hidden, sticky note reminder that had just been rediscovered by sweeping his arm along a cluttered desk. Surely, he'd have to deal with it eventually.

Well, eventually isn't today now is it?

"Well everyone ended up getting super busy today, random stuff, uncontrollable you know?" Rowan looked off, perhaps his 'random stuff' had been the reason for his distraction today. "Except for you right?" Teddy nodded all too quickly, "And Gray surprisingly..." He finished, smiling at the look Teddy hadn't realized had covered his face. It was a mix of fear, shock, and a desperate need to flee, that came from the thought of being alone with Gray Yeon.

"What-"

"Oh well, sucks that Gray has too spend his only off day in forever by himself. I hate that everyone is busy." Rowan side-eyed Teddy, wanting to see the other's reaction to his performance.

Teddy sighed, running his hand through his messy blonde locks, once more. He'd really hate the day where he actually would have to cut it, but he couldn't go around looking like Gerard could he? "You make me sound like a bad person."

"What?" He faked a surprise, using every ounce of self-control in his body to force back a smile, "You? A bad person? That's crazy."

"Insane really."

Rowan shook his head, "Be a good person then I suppose." Was all he had to say before checking his watch and exclaiming, quite loudly, that they had to go to class that very second or they would be late.

As the other sprinted to class, Teddy took on a leisurely pace. What was another tardy? Gray wouldn't get a tardy, he would've gone to class ten minutes ago to study for a test four months from now.

It was alright, Teddy wasn't Gray.

...

"Bye!" Ben screamed, dashing off down the sidewalk to the bus stop. The blue bus slowly appeared from down the street. Teddy silently noted that being late to things was a common theme in this friend group. Alex chased after him, clutching his phone and practically hurdling himself after the boy who'd received quite the head start.

Gerard chuckled to himself while checking his own phone, he had approximately 30 minutes until his shift. Not to worry however, as he'd already calculated that even if he walked the absolutely slowest possible, and encountered heavy traffic, it'd only take about 26 minutes and 57 seconds. Though, today seemed rather clear, his estimation changed to about 19 minutes and 12 seconds instead. The tall boy waved a goodbye to the remainder of the group and started on his way. By now walking the path to work had begun flowing smooth as clockwork. Second nature.
