Chapter 33: Zero

I sat in the locker room with the team, all at the exact same time too. As it was that it was clear that every one did in fact seem to have their heads down as to just what it was that was even going on just now. As it was that they did in fact know as to just how important this moment was for us all, all at the exact same time too.
There were 2 games left in the season, none the less. And that it was that we were in fact the #10 seed in the conference, all at the exact same time too, at that. As right now we were in fact suiting up to play the #9 seed in the conference, none the less.
And next week, we were in fact getting ready to go and play the #7 seed in the conference, all at the exact same time as well. As this one was for sure the game that we needed to win, all at the exact same time too. If it was that we did in fact want any sort of shot as to the fact that we were in fact going to go to the conference tournament, all at the exact same time too.
If we won this game, than we would in fact have the tie breaker on the 8 seed and the 9 seed, all at the exact same time too. As we could still lose next week, and get knocked out of the tournament, all at the exact same time too, at that. But if we lost this week than we would for sure be knocked out, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of shivered, as it was that I just felt like I was in fact freaking out, all at the exact same time too. As this was the most important moment in basketball that I had ever had in my life. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to suddenly just speak to my self a little bit under my own breathe, all at the exact same time too.
"Come on... We need this..." I said to my self, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to simply go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too. And I just then did in fact just seem to simply just lift my head up, all at once.
I then did in fact just seem to start to look at all of my team mates that were in fact in the locker room with me just now, none the less. As it was that I did in fact just seem to see that it was, none the less. That every one did in fact just seem to be quite a bit worried just now, at that.
Which it was, that I could not really blame them for that being the case, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I did in fact know that they too did in fact know as to just how important this game was. As they knew as to just what it was that was in fact on the line in here.
As the Cody and Oliver were in fact seniors of course, all at the exact same time too. As it was that this was their last shot before they went along with their life, none the less. As I kind of felt bad for the both of them, as I wished that we could have done better this year, none the less.
I blinked my eyes a few times, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it was that I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I was even thinking about right now. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to speak to my self a bit out loud, all at the exact same time too.
"What am I thinking? We haven't lost yet..." I said to my self, all at the exact same time too, all at once. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to simply just continue to stand there and stare at the wall that was in fact in front of me.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to do that for just a little bit longer, all at the exact same time too. Until it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to realize that my team mates had in fact heard as to just what it was that I had said to my self. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to realize that I had in fact been speaking just a little bit too loud, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have come to the realization that it was in fact the case. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to hear the voice of my friend Brandon. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to hear him speak right back on over towards me.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have began to have realized that it was in fact the case. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to continue to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too. And I just then did in fact just seem to start to begin to listen as to just what ever it was that my friend felt like he even needed to say right on over towards me just now, all at the exact same time too.
"Well... If Pearce doesn't show up soon... You might be right..." He said to me, as it was clear that he was in fact quite a bit worried as to just what it was that he had even said to me. Which I felt like he did in fact have a bit of a fair point as to just what it was that he had even just said to me.
As it was that I knew that the last person that had in fact missed a game for us. Was when it was that I had in fact just decided that I was going to skip my classes that day. As it was that I still did in fact kind of feel quite a bit bad as to the fact that it was in fact even the case, none the less.
Just as it was that I had in fact just seemed to have continued to have felt that way all of the sudden, all at the exact same time too. That was when it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to hear the voice of some one else begin to speak. As I just then did in fact turn my head on over towards just who it was, as I saw that it just so happened to be Zander, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have looked at my team mate right in to his eyes. I just then did in fact just seem to let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, at that. As it was that I just did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, at that. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to begin to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he even needed to say right now, all at the exact same time too.
"Well... Let's think more positive guys... He could just be flirting with some chicks or talking to one of his teachers... We know he has bad grades..." He said, as it was that he did in fact just seemed to have brought up a fairly fair point on just what it was that he had even just said, at that.
As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to let out a little bit of a soft sigh of some sort of relief to my self all of the sudden, at that. Just as soon as it was that I had in fact just seemed to have realized as to just what it was that he had even just said, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to see that it did in fact also seem to calm the rest of the team down just now, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I then did in fact just seem to nod right back on over towards Zander, all at the exact same time too, all at once. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to begin to have just calmed my self down, all at once, at that. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to hear the voice of Xavier, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that he just then did in fact just seem to start to speak up in a bit more of a calm tone of voice, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to simply let out a little bit of a rough sigh to my self, at that. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to begin to listen as to just what ever it was that Xavier felt like he even needed to say to every one that was in fact in here with me just now, none the less.
"Look... Things will be just fine... We just go with the game plan that we had going in to this week... Just as it was that we practiced..." He said, as it was that he already seemed to have given up on the fact that it was, all at the exact same time too. That we did in fact have any sort of shot as to the fact that it was that Pearce was going to show up, none the less.
As it was that I kind of just wanted to dip my head a little bit low towards the ground once again, at that. As it was that I almost kind of felt like I was in fact feeling hopeless at this point, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I just simply did my best to try to keep my self as calm and as normal as I felt like I possibly could once again, all at once, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there looking at the ground, all at the exact same time too, all at once. That was when it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to all of the sudden hear the voice of Braxton, at that. As it was that he just then did in fact just seem to start to step up and speak, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had realized that it was in fact the case, at that. This time I just seemed to simply stay there with my eyes on the ground, at that. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to begin to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he even needed to say right back on over towards Xavier, at that.
"Isn't the game plan based around Pearce? What are we supposed to do with out him?" He said, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to lift my head up, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to see that Braxton did in fact have his eyes wide, at that.
As it was that he did in fact just seem to have a very fair point on just what it was that he had even said, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it was that I knew that the whole point of practice this week, was us just feeding the ball to Pearce. So that he could bully his way around in the post on defense and offense, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
Meaning, with out him here, all at the exact same time too. It meant that we had no plans at all for how it was that we were going to stop, and score on this team, none the less. As it was that I kind of just then did in fact just seem to start to gulp a bit, as those thoughts did in fact just seem to go through my head of course.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stared there with my own eyes wide for just a little bit of some time, all at once. That was when Xavier just then did in fact just seem to start to speak back to Braxton. As it was that every one just then did in fact just seem to turn their head back on over towards their coach, at that.
As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to simply do my best to try to keep my self as calm and as normal as I felt like I possibly could do in the mean time, all at once. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to begin to go right on ahead. And I just then did in fact just seem to start to begin to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he needed to say towards us all just now, my self.
"Well... We will have to go to some thing else... Next man up as I like to say..." Xavier said to us all, all at the exact same time too. As it was that he just then did in fact just seem to turn his head right on over. Towards where it was that Steve was in fact sitting at just now, none the less.
As it was that every one just then did in fact just seem to start to turn their heads on over towards Steve, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to see that Steve did in fact have his eyes wide, at that. Just as soon as it was that he had realized as to the fact that it was even the case, of course.
I kind of felt a little bit bad as to the fact that the poor guy was in fact being put on the spot just now. As I knew that Steve was no where near as gifted as Pearce was. As there was a good reason as to the fact that he was the back up, none the less.
As I continued to simply just stand there and stare at Steve for just a little bit more time, at that. As it was that he just then did in fact just seem to speak back to Xavier, all at once. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to begin to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he must even say just now, all at the exact same time too.
"Well... I think our chances are slim with out Pearce... Sorry you guys..." He said, as it was that he did in fact have a bit of a guilty look on his face, all at the exact same time too. Just as soon as it was that he had in fact just seemed to have said as to just what it was that he had even said to every one that was here just now.
I kind of felt like his normally high ego that he did in fact just seem to have most of the time. Had in fact just seemed to have calmed down, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it was clear that he was well aware that he was for sure no such sort of Pearce, none the less.
As it was that I kind of felt a little bit had for him at first, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I was about to step up and speak towards him, all at once. Until it seemed like Oliver had in fact beat me to it, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to hear the voice of Oliver, at that. As he just then did in fact just seem to start to step up and speak all of the sudden, of course. That was when it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he needed to say back on over towards Steve, all at the exact same time too.
"Hell... Our chances aren't just slim... Our chances are zero..."
