Izuku POV:

It had been a few days since the argument held between Tomura and me, but tension had still been built all so much. Which had been irritating since now all I hear is his angry mumbles, and often feel glares. Not to mention everyone feeling really uneasy with the two of us in the same room, as if there was a bomb to go off when someone addresses it. But that was the least of my worries right now. Kacchan, Denki, and Neito have all been real off lately. I mean really Kacchan had been hit by Toga, not something like him. Denki has been almost avoidant of anything around here unless it was directly to do with his husbands or me. Neito, well he was usually quiet but right now is like he's trying to avoid saying something. And what brings me to be viewing this as a problem?

They're all in the same room..

Not to mention, I'm trying to peacefully help Kurogiri do the cooking. These three are ruining his and mine moods, and quite frankly our appetites.

With the awkward tension growing, I look over to Kurogiri. He noticed and gave me a small wave of his rag, as if he were saying "fix it." And I gladly set everything down with a slam, making two of the three jump slightly. "Okay. That's enough. What the hell is going on with you three? It's like you killed their cat to keep something a secret."

And before Kacchan got to yell like his usual self, I picked up the knife and pointed it at him. A shocked expression gaining over his face before gaining composure, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

Everyone avoided it again, which irritated me more so. "Either you speak up about it now or there's gonna be more work for everyone plus whatever punishment Toga and me choose." They all froze, some with jaws open. They have all seen Toga punishments, but have been avoiding seeing mine or combined efforts thanks to many warnings from other members. "Now what happened a few days ago that made this such a burden on the rest of us."

Neito sighed being the first to speak, "Katsuki yelled at Denki, which in general hurt both. But Shinsou and me don't wanna tell Denki till Katsuki is ready." He gave a harsh glare towards Kacchan. But my curiousity grew, especially since I've only been back around this group for a week or so now, but always busy.

I look between Kacchan and Neito, neither of them willing to spit anything out. I lift my other hand, rubbing my temples. "Since I know Kacchan won't spit it out and I don't want Denki being exposed without Kacchans consent. Neito, tell me after this." Kacchan tried fighting it, with the help of Denki, only being met with my glare. "Denki, Kacchan, will you inform Dabi of when your ruts are and the accomadations you'll need. Make sure he gets Neitos when we're done. Then to hand me the list. Kacchan and me can go do errands for that later."

With that they nod and leave, causing Neito to come closer. I continue helping Kurogiri waiting for Neito to explain. Which hadn't taken long. "Do you want the reason this time or overall?" I raised my eyebrow, choosing the latter.

He comes over to help, continuing his story will mixing the sauce. "Shortly after you disappeared, he fell into a depression thinking you died. But he wanted to be the best hero for you, but that only proved for so long. Around our senior year he got heavy into drinking or sex to get rid whatever he felt. It died out when he was growing ranks, but then his parents died and well he spiraled. Everything close to his life was gone. He was an empty shell. Around Shoto and Hantas wedding, that's when he delved deep into the same routine of drinking and sex. But after starting his own agency, he's only really been into drinking. Shinsou and me knew, we've tried guiding him back. But Denki doesn't know, he just knows something is wrong from a few days ago when I gave him a glare because he was drunk. Though he said he didn't want Denki or you knowing."

I realized that my once moving hand stopped, I hadn't expected that explanation. No wonder it felt so tense. And honestly, Kacchan was the last I pegged to be an alcoholic. But then it hit me, his quirk has been really unstable for about two years, it was either too much or too little. Nitroglycerin and Alcohol, it all makes sense now. Rapidly turning to Kurogiri, he side eyed me waiting for my voice to follow. "Give him way less drinks okay? And make sure to give me a chart of his. Near the two drink marker, offer him non alcoholic beverages that he can easily make or order outside here. If he has a problem with it, tell him to come to me." Kurogiri silently agreed, going back to what he was doing.

Neito tilted his head in question, following my response to him. "Nitroglycerin and alcohol become unstable and volitle together. So for two years he's been drinking, that's when his quirk became almost unreliable." With that, it all clicked for Nieto as well.

He turned with a spoon in hand, "you're a genius. You know that."

Shrugging, I dismiss it for now, having Neito help Dabi with the preparation outside the kitchen area. And just like that dinner was made pretty fast after the whole situation.

----

Dinner went by fast enough, leaving me to vices. Soon enough I just sat there contemplating what I needed to do for the next few weeks. Kurogiri being the only company I had. But shortly after Dabi and Kacchan joined me. Dabi dropped off the list, in which I checked over. The contents not really seeming off. Just Denki and Neito requesting time off to be around either each other or Shinsou, in which we already expected. Neither one taking place anytime soon luckily. Kacchan, just having written down as solitude, his taking place after a couple of months approximately.

"Hey Kacchan, why does it say maybe two months away for your rut?"

He didn't give me much acknowledgement physically, only giving verbal acknowledgement. "I haven't payed attention since some years ago. Usually I'm stuck in my office or home anyways. If I have it, I'll call in for whatever appointments and either send someone else or reschedule."

My jaw dropped, the guts of this man...

Sighing with a growing headache, I stand to get ready to go do errands. Kacchan followed despite me not giving him immediate orders to, which I was thankful for.

All in all, we walked out, only to be met with silence from each other. Whether it be not wanting to be caught whilst wearing our disguises or the discussion earlier. But soon enough we came to the rut errands, grabbing essentials such as bottled water, bedding, etc. But soon a question came from Kacchan that stopped me in my tracks.

"When do you go into heat?"

I heard the genuine curiosity behind his voice, but still looked at him in shock. Clearing my throat to continue what I was doing, my hands fumbled with blankets. "I have quite a bit till my heat thanks to the suppressants. Though yearly I'll need to do a detox just in case." He nodded, his attention turning somewhere. To be honest, I didn't want him knowing that after we send him back is then when my detox comes. And for the detox, it's a hard process for most since most alphas have to be moved to a different hideout for a weeks time. And as a the right hand man of All for One and an omega, it's not like we can let all of them know why.

With all my focusing and thinking happening, I forget that Kacchan had wondered off. Soon snapping out of it, I looked around and tried finding him. Finding him near the omega items, with a small section for alphas next to it. He looked at me cluelessly, "do we need anything in this mess?"

"Kacchan, have you really never shopped to prepare for heats or ruts?"

He looked at me almost viciously fast, but then calmed knowing we were in public. He turned away with an angry pout, causing me to stiffle a giggle. He didn't need to answer. With that I grab the few things we actually need from this section.

"Meanwhile, what do you need for your rut Mr Solitude?" With this he clicked his tongue at me.

"Let's just get out of here as soon as possible."

'There's my Kacchan,' a smile escapes.

----

By the time we got back, it had been past midnight, most of the members either being in their rooms sound asleep or out on their nightly duties given to them. Though I didn't seem to express any exhaustion more so than normal. But looking to Kacchan, he seemed exhausted but lost in thought, and knowing him he wouldn't sleep till he got answers to the thoughts. As soon as I had noticed he looked my way not moving his head, "did he tell you everything?" The question I forgot was to come, in which I wasn't too happy to answer now that it came but it was needed.

I dropped off the bags of rut and heat material on the closest surface, which resulted in Kurogiri looking at it but then going back to his own. I turned to him with a soft smile hoping it wouldn't stir any problems, "he did, and I'm sorry." He turned to me with wide eyes, that brought plenty of pain behind them.

But he soon wiped it off his face with a straight face, "tch." And with that he walked to the hallway, stopping right before disappearing to his room. "Still taking responsibility for others stupidity, fuckin idiot."
