The gun had shot off into a gangster looking to steal from the trunk. Jason let his shoes hit the floor out the door then slammed it in the man's face. He had shot the shoulder, but whatever the car door did was going to leave brain damage. Selina got out the car. He picked him up by the collar, the lifeless body, and put his neck beneath a tire and slammed a closed fist on the gas pedal, a crunch was heard.
"OK, how's this sound, 10k for information. And even more president Grover's in the 10's for assistance." Jason changing the subject as if they were just speaking about politics or the news.
Jason placed his hands in his coat. He let his eye poke into the lenses of his binoculars. This was supposed to be her idea. His idea of her was set to be a distraction. Nothing more nothing less. She walked in and pulled the fire arm. Immediately everyone left. He let palms raise and fall over the ledge. He knew how things ended than they started, and he knew this would be a laughing matter.
The crowd was crawling with corporate snobs and fools. She made it a point to not blend herself in. Sometimes acting took patience, and now was no different but that meant she had a job to do. She fixed her short hair and went to the inner crowd centering around a spokesman. She pretended to speak with an employee. Her ears focused on theirs every now and then rather mainly on hers.
She had stolen a few goods during her run as a lack luster desk settler.
"It's crazy man we went from nothing to........ We earned some good shit we..... You think the guy'll come here?"
That was her que, to head to the broom closet. The man came out and was punched into a wall, his back head making a thud off the wall. As he went forward from the bruise, she closed lined him. His head turned to look upward and the last thing he saw was her foot stomping on his jaw before the black. She got on her gear and put on the headset.
"Jason you copy? Guys nearby your car, they'll know something. They're by the last section of the auction." Selina said.
"All these people able to walk to whatever auction they want. Should've walked out the door the second they came, rooms packing with guards like they're protecting a national V.I.P." Jason said entering the facility.
"Who's to say. These people think they're buying cars with no history. I'd say these guys are chumps, you don't wanna stay where your stolen item is. Ends up turning bad each time. Reward turns to consequence." Selina said through the ear.
"Talk to me about the guys guarding it. Before I show my face and they shoot a gun they're not trained for besides showing it off at a civilian every now and then." Jason blending.
He didn't let himself get shown to the guards, he instead let a civilian shield him from their sight. By walking, or stopping at key points.
"There's three of them... Yup still three. I got the keys." Selina going forth and jingling keys for Jason to hear.
"OK meet me by the car in about a minute. I'm going in blind., the only smart thing they did was change keys." Jason said picking up his jog to a run.
Jason swung his leg tripping a guard and stomping him out as he gouged out an eye with his fingers. Click clack, a gun dropped. He crouched, a guard's hand went over the car half way, Jason's arm reaching it and twisting it at his head blasting him in the face. He went over to the man in recovery, grabbing his arm and pushing his head into the car hood.
Selina during this time had punched in the fire alarm. Everyone left. Jason picked the man off the car hood.
"You think stealing a car will take you places? Sure, until I get a gun in your face. Track'll go cold." Jason putting a gun to his head.
"Whoa whoa whoa, relax it's good! I'll tell you everything!" The guard cried out.
"The face you make before you die will tell me all I need to know, pal." Jason whacking him across the face, as he made his statement, then putting the gun in his mouth. The man panted in a grotesque and fear.
"No it's definitely not a good auction. There's no envelope in it. What are we gonna do from here?" Selina asked before a bullet shot into her head.
The corpse crumpling to the ground. Jason laughing then turning dead serious once more. He knew how things ended, and he couldn't maintain this man in good health any longer.
"That's up to your thieves you share honor amongst at your funeral. See pal, she was my friend. She died for stealing and pick pocketing things. You however can be granted a little nice death. Or see what torture is like." Jason bashing the man's head into the front and side glass of the car.
"Black Mask. He's a suit man. He runs his operations like they're regular business. Things accounted for, sold, and bought. All managed by his secretary." The criminal said.
Jason punched him twice, the first hit to his jaw, which allowed the pressure point behind the ear exposed for a second hit. The man fell to the floor sleeping. At his base he told him he could use water after three days, having returned to then waterboarded him straight after. He then took a knife and started skinning him alive the man howling, Jason holding his mouth. Some said pain was best heard, not silenced, but this meant they couldn't get out relief in total discomfort. When he was done he had thrown the skin on a pile, the man's entire chest exposed red.
"It's ok buddy. Don't worry, I know you're hungry. The skin you've given should cook nicely. See..." Jason took the camera. Pointing it at the man who was breathing in and out deep breaths. "Black Mask you think you're powerful but this'll look like a kid's show what I'll do to you if I don't get what I want.
A brick smashed through the TV. Black Mask turned to his secretary he knew he could trust him.
