Arc 6: Words of a Mad Woman

---

"Wow Connie!" A military guard praised, "you managed to capture the Crystal Titan Shifter by yourself! I guess you Scouts really are a cut above the rest."

A young lad, who had previously been resting his head, peaked an eye open - curious about the sudden commotion. A grey haired scout (the young lad could tell he was a part of the scouts because of the Wings of Freedom on his back) had entered the jail cell dragging in a (h/c) haired girl. She was unfamiliar to the young Lad (though it wasn't as if the young Lad actually knew many people here) and had a kind of forgin edge to her.

The (h/c) haired girl carried herself with a strange sort of confidence. The young lad even found himself questioning who the real prisoner in this situation was.

The grey haired Scout (who the young Lad assumed to be Connie) shrugged, "well, she didn't put up much of a fight."

The (h/c) haired girl, who had been dragged in by Connie, laughed "neither did this rope," holding her hands up, the rope that had been tied around the girl's hands had magically united itself.

The young lad's jaw would have dropped to the ground if it hadn't been attached to his face. She was quite... daring. Especially while being in the middle of (what the young lad could only assume to be) enemy territory. Truthfully, the young lad found much of her to be rather daring. From the way she carried herself to the curious look in her eyes.

A strange aura oozed from the daring girl, though the young lad wasn't too sure what might have brought that aura on.

Perhaps it was the sheer infamy of her name. A forgin soldier who infiltrated and broke down the walls of Paradis before she had even reached the age of eighteen. Before she had even been an adult!

The young lad had never actually seen a Titan before, much less a Titan Shifter. (Well he had seen a Titan Shifter before, just not as close as he had been right now.) He had been too soft for the military training and had lived a comfortable life inside of Wall Rose. Most people from his small town would have never seen (and hopefully never would have to see) the horrific creatures known as Titans. The young lad had always assumed that there would be something... off with people that had become Titans.

There had to have been something off with those creatures. Turning into such a... horrific monster would bound to have consequences on the psyche of their mortal minds, right?

Perhaps it was the slightly crazed look in her eyes as she eyed the guards curiously.

Or, maybe it was the amount of attention she commanded when she spoke.

No. The young lad shook his head. It was in the way that the (h/c) haired girl looked around that told the young lad that she was trouble. Her eyes rarely stopped on a single spot (or person), scanning the area as if she were inspecting it for something.

"H-hey!" The military guard jumped back, "don't try anything!"

The (h/c) haired girl curiously eyed the guard, looking at him in a cat-like manner, "if I wanted to try something, all of you would already be gone."

The military guard swallowed deeply, his hands shaking. If the young lad hadn't seen the earlier happenings of this situation he would have assumed that the (h/c) haired girl was the guard and the guards her prisoners.

"(Y-Y/n)!" Connie exclaimed, "please don't make a scene and just head into the jail cell."

A brief look of contemplation crossed the girl's face before she finally smiled, "so do you guys want to retie the ropes first, or should I just head into the cell?"
