Toms POV;

It’s the first time since the break-up I’m going to see my ex-wife. And of all places it’s here - At my… sorry, our daughters debut as a VS model. I don’t like the idea of our daughter showing that much of her-self. 

“It’s going to be just fine, honey.” Jacqueline – my new girlfriend – said. We were placed at the front row, right next to my ex-wife. “Hey Louise” I nodded while pulling Jacqueline down at the seat next to me.

She only nodded back, talking to a person in her phone.

“Who’s Louise?” Jacqueline‘s eyes was questioning me.

“Ex-wife” I said. The show began. I’d never really been at a show like these before, but it’s not bad I guess.

My daughter is opening the show. A feeling of guild is rolling over me like a blanket. I know I should be enjoying it, and I really am trying, but I can’t. I can’t see my own daughter in those little clothes.

“Excuse me, darling.” The lady in the lobby looks up from her book.

“Where do I find the bathroom?”  She points me in the right direction with a “That way, Mr.”

The bathroom are white and sterile. The music from the show is floating through the speakers in the corner.  I can imagine the way the girls are walking with those ridiculous minimalistic clothes on.

After the show there is an after party thrown. 

Louise and Jacqueline are talking about something while I am looking for Fiona.

Fiona is talking with a girl I don’t recognize, before she turns around.  Lindsey. I haven’t seen her for a while, and I wonder if she’s mad at my daughter or something, but apparently not since they’re talking.

Louise say’s something to me I don’t really hear?

“Sorry. What was you saying, Lou?” she doesn’t look like she was telling a joke.

“Are you going to take Fiona to that premier on your movie or not, Tom?”  Oh. The releasing on The Avengers 3! How could I forget it? “Uhm, yeah... of course, but she doesn’t know it yet, though.”  Louise looks at me for a second before smiling at Fiona who made her way through. Louise hugs Fiona, and it’s rather violent after my opinion. “Okay okay…  Louise let her breath.” I take Fiona to my own eyes, and congratulate her with the show.  I get a look from Louise telling me to till Fiona about that release.  It’s time to put the serious face on, and to the only thing I’m good at. Acting.

“But I have news to tell you”  I let her go of my grip, watching her eyebrow raise. “I’m serious, Fiona.”

Her face get the ‘what have I done’-look on. It’s time to reveal the news.

“Fiona… you’re…” That’s it. I can’t handle this anymore, and I crack up laughing along with Jacqueline and Louise. “Oh dear! Fiona, you should see your face right now….. hahahaha,” I wipe away a tear on my cheek. “Next Saturday you’re going with me to the premier on The Avengers 3 with me. After that you’re staying with your mother for a week or two, as I’m off to a lot of press conferences.” Her face still looks a bit confused. “You have done absolutely nothing wrong honey. I assure you … Unless there’s something you want to tell me?”
