chapter one - introduction

"Y/N! Y/N! Y/N! Y/N!" I hear Sofi scream as she shook me awake. I slowly flutter my eyes open and sigh deeply at the sight of my almost empty white room "mom and dad want us both to get downstairs cause they have a surprise for us!" She screamed happily as I smiled getting up from my bed and walking down the stairs behind Sofi.

"What's the ballons for?" I ask mom looking around at the ballons that filled the whole living room space everywhere.

"Well y/n, sofi....WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND FOR THE HOLIDAYS!" Mom said and Sofi screamed running around like crazy and smiling brightly, one of her smiles that could light up the whole world. I smiled too, happy that we were going to Disney Land, but there was this one tought on my head that kept bugging me. I knew that I shouldn't ask it but she is my sister, I worry about her.

"Is Camila coming too mom?" I say softly almost like a whisper so Sofi couldn't hear. I remember every night after the fay Camila left for X factor, Sofi would always ask me "when is kaki coming home y/n" , "why hasn't she called yet" and the one that most hurt my heart, the one that broke me, the one that made me hate Camila for ever leaving us and not even bothering to call, that one night when Sofi woke me up at two in the morning crying her eyes out but all she said was one thing.

'Karla left us y/n she doesn't remember us anymore'

She didn't even reffer to her as kaki or mila like she normally did, she just simply called her Karla. Camila didn't come home for Christmas, she didn't come for neither mine or Sofia's birthday, she didn't come for nana's funeral, she didn't come for mom and dad's twenty years of marriage anniversary. She left us.

"Look y/n..." dad was beggining to explain but i just ignored that and walked back to my room opening my closet and starting to pack for Disney, I also decided to pack for Sofi too not to waste too much time.

my phone started rining as i searched everywhere, every little corner of the house to find it i finally found it under my bed along with lots of clothes that were just thrown in there for some reason, wich means that i was probably way too tired to actually put it down properly so i just threw it under the bed.

"hey babe how are you, you haven't read my texts ir awnsered my phone calls lately, everything alright?" That was Jessie, she is one of my best friends. She used to be Camila's best friend also, that is until she left "Jess who are you talking to?" I hear someone say "Do you mind if I put Rhiannon on the phone?" Jessie asks causing me to smile, Rhiannon was also one of my best friends and I haven't talked to her in ages.

"Not at all" I say as Jessie put the call in speaker phone

"Woooooo y/n we haven't talked in forever what have you been up to?" Rhiannon said and I laughed

"Not much just studying I guess, practicing dance also..." I say "and I'm going to Disney with my family for the holidays hopefully ya'll can come too even if just for a day!" I continue

"Is Camila going?" Rhiannon asks as I suddently hear a slap "you idiot you can't ask y/n about her sister you know that is a sensitive subject!" Jessie says

"It's fine Jessie, and I don't know Rhiannon but I sincerely hope not, but anyways I gotta go i'll talk to ya'll later bye" I say hanging up the phone after both of them said their goodbyes.
