Phone Call

A piercing scream broke the stillness of the night. My eyes shoot open and I sit up. My shirt and hair is wet and my heart is pounding against my chest.
"Was is real?" I think. I look around the room. My little sister Tiana is still sleeping. "It was just a dream, I guess."
I get up and decide to get a glass of water. I walk out of my room and start down the stairs. When I'm halfway down, I hear a creak. I flinch, then recover.
"Probably just the stairs," I think.
I keep walking down and get to the bottom. It's pitch black in the living room except for the moonlight shining through the window, which is also letting a breeze in.
"Hmm... That's strange. I thought I closed that." I walk over to the window and bring it down and then draw the drapes. I start walking towards the kitchen but the phone rings. I wonder who's calling this late and head over to answer the call.
"Hello?" I whisper because I don't want to wake anyone.
"Get outside with anything valuable. You have 20 minutes." A low voice says.
"Wrong number..." I say, my heart racing, and hang up. 5 seconds later I get another call.
"I'm warning you. If you're not out in 20 minutes you'll be sorry." I hang up and duck into a corner of the room.
