Chapter Three: TRUTH OR DARE

Hopes POV:

Its been about 10 minutes with everyone here and we were just catching up on everything. There was so much laughing involved and I just avoided Landon because he seems moppy which really seems to spoil my mood.

I then heard the door bell ring on the door. "I'll get it!" I said and quickly got up and moved to the door. I opened it to reveal Maya in a mid-thigh black dress with a black pair of Jordans on and 4 boxes of pizza in her hands.

"Hey!" I said and offering to give her a hand in help with the pizza which she gave to me and stepped inside.

I closed the door behind me and walked over to the kitchen counter to put the boxes down. I then walk back over to her.

"I'm not late am I?" She asks fiddling with her fingers.

"No you're not...its just everyone came about 15 minutes earlier." I said directing her to where she must sit which was next to me.

I am currently sitting between Lizzie and Maya. My nerves are going crazy because Josie and Maya are in the same room. I'm so happy that Maya doesn't know about me and Josie but also terrified for what tonight might bring.

"Okay let's begin with everyone's favorite....TRUTH OR DARE!" MG says loudly clapping his hands together.

"Yes we once again get to see the daredevil in action tonight!" Cleo says which makes everyone cheer out loud except Landon but I don't really give a fuck about him, Lizzie then begins shaking my arm as she cheers too and I look over at Josie to see her actually laugh. I miss that a lot, she then locks eye contact with me and she looks away again which made me do the same.

"What are you guys talking about?" I hear Maya ask next to me and MG, Lizzie and Josie groan and roll their eyes at the same time.

"Oh right I forgot you are new here." Cleo laughs. She then adds. "So Hope took an oath in tenth grade that she will never back down from a dare unless she can get expelled, locked up in jail or seriously hurt....and she's never broken it since." Everyone then again cheers.

"Wait, wait, wait......you guys aren't dating right?" Penelope asks with a raised eyebrow and pointing between me and Maya.

I scoff. "No....we're not." While laughing a bit.

We all hear Josie bursting out in laughter and everyone just stares at her while Penelope, Cleo, and Lizzie tries to keep their laugh in but snickers a bit.

"I'm sorry no that wasn't funny." Josie says trying to calm herself down.

I just shake my head while smiling because Maya must be feeling uncomfortable about their reaction.

"We're not dating....yet." Maya said eyeing Josie for some reason.

"Sureee." Josie says sarcastically.

But before Maya could say anything else I beat her to it. "Let's play!" I yell to get rid of this unnecessary tension in the room.

Time skip forward a bit

We've been playing for a while now and everyone is mostly throwing dares at each other which is really good like MG dared Rafael to go on his insta and announce that his dating Landon for 24 hours and the funny thing is they both straight as fuck while Rafael is dating some chick in New York.

We also found out that Landon has been dating some girl named April for two months then she dumped him this morning, which is probably explains why he seems like a mopping dick who got no dick.
