Matt's P.O.V.

I kicked around a football in the locker room. I knew we weren't supposed to do this but oh well. Rory was tying his shoes as we waited for the game to start.

At TARDIS the football season lasts almost all year. We don't play during the winter. But we do play in the fall and then the season is on hold until the spring. This is our last game for the fall.

"You excited for this game?" I asked Rory kicking the ball up.

"Yep. Let's hope we win." Rory said back to me.

We were facing the Silence this game. They are one of the best sports team in the country. But we will beat them, I am determined to. The Silence have so many different and complex moves, people say you forget what they did at the end of the game. Because their members are incredibly skilled at remembering moves. But I'm trying to keep calm about it. Panicking will only make things worst.

Rory finishes tying his shoe and then he stands up. I kick the football around but Rory takes it. Oh he is not winning this battle.

I quickly steal it back from him. And I keep it away from him as he tries to take it. Eventually he does so then I'm trying to take it back again. We do this for a couple of minute until Coach Strax blows his whistle.

"Smith! Williams! Stop playing with that ridiculous ball. You know your not supposed to do that in here." Coach Strax says.

The whole team gather around Strax.

"Ok lads. This is it, we must win for the glory of TARDIS High. You must obliterate the enemy!" Coach Strax said.

Then we all ran out. We saw The Silence in there black jerseys. The first thing you notice about them is their height! Most of them have to be like 7 feet tall! How!? Then you notice how pale they are! They are practically white! No wonder they have black jerseys!

We all get into our positions. I look behind me and see Rory in defense position. The stadium is full, the players were ready and I was prepared to win.

Let the game begin.

The finale moments of the game. I use my mud-smudged jersey to wipe the sweat off my face. It was now late into the night and the stadium lights had turned on. I ran my hand through my hair, which was also sweaty, and I looked back at Rory who was prepared to defend. The Silence had just scored a goal and there were only 30 seconds left in the game. But I am still going to win.

Rory nodded and I did as well. In our spare time we both made up a play. And we agreed to only use it when the team really needs it. And right now out team really needed it.

The referee blew the whistle and Peter kicked the ball towards The Silence's goal. But one of their extremely tall and pale team members took it from him and then dribbled it down the field towards our goal.

I looked at Rory again. It was now time to start the first stage of our play. The first part is that Rory let's the opponent run last him to get his guard down. Which he does. And I see by the way his muscles relax that he let's his guard down because he thinks he's going to score a point.

But me being a little bit faster than Rory, I run up behind The Silent and take the ball away from him. Which I then pass the ball to Rory so he can take it down the field to the other goal.

He gets there in a matter of seconds, with me close behind him, and his job is to distract the defenders and goal keeper as much as possible. He starts kicking the ball about and rolls it under his feet a lot.
