Part six

You walked into... dandy's house

It turns out he had the twins all along, you walked upstairs into the room they were being held in with Jimmy

You handed them each a slice of your cake

"It's good, i promise"
You nodded

"I want nothing from you"
Dot grimaced

"I'm sure it'll taste wonderful!"
Bette smiled

"Bette, dot, i know this seems like the life of Riley now, but trust me, this is no place for you. Because to them, you're nothing more than a curiosity. A freak to gawk at"
Jimmy said

"So what do you want us to do? Go back to the show? How is that any different?"
Bette asked

"Because you'd have a whole community of people to protect you"
You said

"Why would we harm a hair on their heads?"
Dandy's mother said
"We paid good money for these girls"

You bubbled with rage

"Mothers right, don't listen to a word. Everything they say is a lie."
Dandy said

"Jimmy, you told us you saved those kids from the killer clown"
Bette said
"It was dandy. He was there when you were unconscious"

"It was not dandy"
You snapped
"I watched Jimmy push the clown out the way so the kids could escape! I tried to fight one of the clowns off"

You breathed in and out to regain your composure

"Dandy"
You said, softly
"I would like to speak to you outside"

"No"
He said
"Whatever you'd like to say could be spoken in here"

"I must warn you, i won't be so nice for the remaining moments we have together if we stay in this room"
You said
"So id like to take this outside"

He shook his head

You inhaled

"Well for one you decide to kidnap a few young children and torture them in a trailer in the middle of the forest and then claim that you saved them. Two, you treat these two girls like.. excuse my language.. but you treat them like utter shit"
You snapped
"You treat them like toys. Then you get jealous that I'm not going to marry a monster like you just because your mommy promised it. Then you get angry because you can't get away with anything anymore. You are a thirty year old man. Act your age and stop acting like a child"

"Bette, dot. You need to come with me, now"
Jimmy said quietly

You stepped towards dandy

"You are the real freak. Not them. You think you can treat people like dirt just because you have more money than them?"
You asked
"Well i have as much money as you and i don't act entitled to everything. You act like the word wasn't around before you were born"

Dandy ignored you

"Dot, i know you have mixed feeling. You're thinking of getting the surgery, which I'll never allow-"

"Because you'd never cut a girl in half, would you dandy?"
You said

"SHUT UP!"
He yelled
"Stop trying to ruin everything!"

"How do you know.. dandy?"
Dot asked
"About the surgery?"

"I told you there will be no secrets between us"
Dandy said

"He read your diary"
You said

"I want to leave"
Dot said

"She can't leave without bette"
Dandy said
"We're in love, and love trumps everything."
