Padme was brought to the hospital on Coruscant.  Obi-Wan and Anakin remained inside as Master Yoda, Windu, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Plo Koon, and a few of their other friends watched from a glass wall. One of the shocking news was that Padme has been carrying twins this whole time. Everyone saw the senator push as hard as she could.

"Come on, Padme!" said Obi-Wan, "You gotta push, push!"

"I-it hurts!" Padme shouted in pain.

"Oh, gosh!" Anakin shouted in pain as Padme crushed his hand, "Why did I ever let you squeeze my hand, Padme?!"

Padme could feel everything beginning to get more painful by the minute.

"Padme, Padme calm down." said Anakin, hovering his hand over Padme's face, "Let your mind calm down."

Padme still screamed in pain, but it was over (or so they thought) once they all heard the sound of a baby crying. A droid soon had a baby in its hands.

"It's a boy." said Anakin, he turned to Padme, "I'll name him Luke, Padme?"

"Go ahead..." Padme panted.

Suddenly, she began to cry again. Because everyone forgot that there was another baby to deliver. The same process happened again. Except, this time, Padme's mind almost went straight past Anakin's calm-down move. The room was once again quiet at the sound of another baby crying. Padme felt very weak, as if she had been through all the most painful moments of her life.

"It's a girl." said Obi-Wan as he held onto the other baby.

"L-leia..." said Padme.

Tears went down Anakin's face. He felt so happy, he finally had a family of his own. The hospital bed bent to have Padme sit up, mostly anyway. Her heart was at a very weak pace. Anakin and Obi-Wan begged the force to let her live.

"I want to see my children." she panted again.

"Here they are." said Obi-Wan and Anakin.

"Luke...my little boy...Leia...my little girl..."

Anakin then felt that his life was completed. Padme then closed her eyes, and dreamed a dream that can never be turned into a nightmare. Because now, her children, her husband, and her brother-in-law (sort of...), are here for her, always.
