'it hurts..... it's painful..' he thought as he ran further into the woods, barefooted for god knows how long.

He didn't know where he was going, everything was unfamiliar to him, not that he cared all too much.

After all, his current priority was to get as further away and as soon as possible. Takemichi felt like crying, tears welled up in his eyes, threatening to fall but the boy was to resolved and determine for letting it happen. Probably preventing his vision from getting any blurrier.

He knew better than to cry in his current situation, it will definitely slow him down, he can't risk that.

The boy inhaled and exhaled heavily, hot short and sharp breaths being sucked in and released, ignoring the burning feeling in his lungs and throat.

He could taste the iron in is throat, and he could feel the throbbing sensation in his body, but he can't give up, not when he had come so far.

His body was aching all over, it didn't help that he was barefooted and that it had been bleeding for a while, probably for stepping on all the sharp stones and twigs scattered across the forest as he ran through the dark and deep part of the woods, resulting to it creating behind a trail of blood and making it more difficult for him to be hidden, he cursed at himself for being so reckless.

But who could blame him?

As smart he is, Takemichi was still barely even reaching 6 years old and his only goal was to escape the moment he had the opportunity to, because he knows making a thorough and calculative plan would take a while and there won't be a next time.

He knew he should have ATLEAST grabbed something for self-defence, he feels stupid.

A part of his daily routine in that hellish facility was their hardcore training sessions. And even if the boy was the top of his class in that particular subject, armed men who were probably third his size and quadruple his strength could still take him down.

He winched in pain, he had stepped on another stone , releasing a soft inaudible whimper, making it harder for the boy to hold back his tears that were welled up in his beautiful ocean blue eyes, 'please! somebody! anybody, please help me', he pleaded inwardly, too scared to scream aloud whilst hoping for a savior to listen to his quiet prayers and save him from this hell.

The night was breezy and quiet, millions of stars scattered across the dark sky, creating a beautiful bright shine, a perfect night for most, so to say.

But to him, it wasn't an enjoyable moment. In fact, he felt as if the starry night sky was glaring down on the boy, the shine from the stars is indeed making his escape more challenging for the light illuminated from them were practically revealing his pursuers his location. It was as if they were mocking him in his futile attempt at fleeing.

Takemichi cursed at his luck in life, he hated that he had to go through so much at such a young age.

All he could hear were the sounds of twigs snapping underneath his foot and his heavy shaky breaths as he desperately tries to escape his pursuers.
