Aria Gotokuji, a girl with raven-blue hair, tan-ish skin, eyes that change from silver and a striking fuchsia, sighed as she remembered the campers' faces when she was claimed before she threw her duffel bag and messenger bag into cabin 8. Artemis' cabin.

Sure, just because she was born of moonbeams doesn't mean she's a freak! I mean, Athena's kids are brain children and you don't see them being treated as freaks! Aria fell back onto one of the beds. She groaned loudly.

The cold metal of her [ironically] wedding-style silver circlet with a moon in the center with small diamonds dotting the rest pressed against her forehead. She looked at her bow and arrows. Her favorite weapon used to wooden and small, made by her father. Her weapon grew and turned silver when she was claimed. A blessing of Artemis.

There was a knock at her door. "Come in!" called the daughter of the moon goddess. "Hey, Ria." In walked, Thalia Grace, Aria's best friend, daughter of Zeus, and lieutenant of... Her mother.

She had spiky black hair, electric blue eyes, punk-style clothes, and a simple silver circlet. "Or should I say, Sil."

"Huh?"

"Oh, I talked to M'lady." explained Thalia.

"Turns out, whenever she visited you, she nicknamed you Silver."

Thalia didn't know what happened. It all started so quickly. Aria began to sob. The lieutenant wrapped her arms around her friend, whispering comforting words into her ear.

"Why, Thalia?" whispered Aria softly. "I fought by their side in the Titan War. Athena's kids are brain children and I'm a moonbeam. Why am I treated like a—like a—"

"Freak?" Thalia supplied. "Thanks for your support." snorted Aria. "Sor—" Thalia was cut off by the door opening, revealing three figures; two males and a female.

The first boy had shaggy black hair, pale skin, and obsidian black eyes that were so dark, they were almost purple. He was wearing a black aviator jacket, black jeans, and black sneakers. He had a skull ring on his finger and a stygian iron sword strapped to his side. It seemed as if all the black emphasized his paleness further. His name was Nico di Angelo, son of Hades. The social outcast of Camp Half-Blood. It was most likely he came here to comfort his fellow social outcast.

The second boy had unruly blond hair, lightly tan skin, and blue eyes that flickered to a gun-metal gray, showing he was thinking deeply. His eyes only changed to gray when he was in deep thought, angry, or just didn't want to look like his mortal half-brother or an Apollo child, despite his optimistic personality he adopted when around mortals, and were blue when he wanted to be underestimated. He was wearing an orange CHB T-shirt,  jeans, and white tennis shoes. This person had known Aria since he was 7 and she was 9, and was like a little brother to her. He obviously was here to comfort his older sister figure by 2 years. His name was TK Takaishi, the only child of Athena of a lesbian relationship.

The girl had deeply tan skin, periwinkle eyes, and a mix between golden and caramel colored princess-curled hair. She was wearing a purple, mid-sleeve, button-up blouse, dark wash denim jeans, and black toms. This girl was Lou Ellen Meriweather, head counselor of the Hecate cabin. She was one of Aria's first friends at CHB, she obviously came to comfort her estranged from CHB friend.

"Hi, Songbird, Lieutenant Sparkles." greeted Lou Ellen.

"Hey, Trinket, Death Breath, Day Owl." Aria mumbled.

"Guys, we've all been alienated by the rest of camp because we're different." Nico said suddenly. "We should leave."

"You mean, run away?" Thalia furrowed her brow. "Yeah," replied TK. "You used to be a pine tree, Songbird's the daughter of Artemis, Death Breath's the son of Hades, Trinket's been shunned from her cabin and the rest of CHB because she want to remain friends with you, and I'm always getting singled out for being the result of a lesbian relationship. Face it, we're all outcasts."
