Karan is sitting in the canteen lost in thoughts. He was sure about the man. But still there is a doubt that how can he came out? How can he be here?
All this is making his head pain. He pressed his head tightly with his hands.
Monami on the other hands looks at him.
Monami: Ye toh vahi hu na jisne meri gf ke saath takraya. Isse kya hua. Kya karu jaau. Naa. Par isse aise dekhar mein sad kyu horahi hu.
Monami decided to go to him. She sat with him and forwarded a cup of garama garam chai. Karan looks up smelling the tea.
Monu: hey! Wo i thought u need this.
Karan smiles weekly.
Karan: i needed this.
He took the chai sipping silently.
Monu: hmm.. don't mind but r u okey.
Karan: yaa.. it's just a head ache.
Monu: waise ham properly mili nahi. Mein Monami Mahajan.
Karan: Karan Shergill.
He forwarded his hand. Monu hesitated. Karan can sense the discomfort so backed out.
Karan: Toh college kaisa laga.
Monu: it's beautiful. Yeh meri dream college hai. Which makes it more beautiful.
Karan: haa pehle year haina isiliye aise lag rahi hai. Election ki time u will regret.
Monu: seriously. Abhi se dara rahi hu.
Karan: It's a fact Monami.
Monu made a face. Karan finds it too cute. He chuckles. Monu looks at him. His sweet sound echoing in her ear. She smiles.
Monu:(mind) Monu tuje kya horahi hai. Tu hamesha mardo se door bhagtha hu aur aaj ussi ke saath friend ship bhi ki. Par yeh wo insaan jaisi bilkul bhi nahi hai. I guess.
Karan stops seeing her looking at him.
Karan: Sorry wo.. i found it cute.
Monu: ayee. Friendship mein sorry nahi bolthi re.
Karan smiles.
Then... All the friends of Karan came. They saw Monu with Karan making them smile.
Karan saw them.
Karan: oohh agaya. Monami meet them. Yeh Faizi hai aur yeh koel yeh dono couple hai.
Koezi: hello.
Monu: hey.
Karan: yeh Arjun and Riya.. couples.
Ariya: hey.
Monu smiles at them.
Karan: ye Swati hai.. aur.. Rohit? Rohit kaha hai.
Swati: ooh wo nahi aayi. Actually usko urgently kahi jaana tha tho. Kal raat se ghar nahi hai.
Karan smile vanished listening to her. Rohit is not there. Then he have to go there for his bike. Which means he have to face that person again.
Monu noticed his changes but kept quite.
Faizi: wo sab chodo. Monami nice to meet you.
Monu: thanks faizi.
Arjun: Aur ab tum iss group ki member hu... Welcome.
Arjun tries to hug her but she backs out.
Monu: huh.. sorry wo.. i am not so comfortable to hug.
Riya smacks Arjun's back.
Riya: Monami don't mind him. Yeh aisa hi hai. Well abhi mein chalthi hu class hai.
Monu: bye.
Riya: bye.
Arjun: Monami meri wo intention nahi tha.
Monu: Arjun i know that. Wo meri problem hai... I...
Karan: yeh pata class kaisa tha.
Karan cuts her in between. He noticed her discomfort of touch especially males. He knows that Arjun will not leave it so he changed the topic.
Like this everyone talked. Soon Monu gets comfortable with them.
Karan: Friendship toh hui. Ab lovers banne mein itna time nahi lagenga.
Karan twirls in his room. He is so happy.
He never in his dream thought that Monu will be friend with him. That too after yesterday mishap.
He strongly believes that Monu will fall for him. He saw the hint of happiness in her eyes when he is happy.
Param cane to his room and saw him happy.
He wished to tell him but seeing him he decided to tell later. But he knows the more he neglect the more the danger is.
Param: chotte.
Karan: Bhaiyya. Aaj mein bohot kush hu. Meri crush ne aaj mujhse dosti ki...
He hugged Param. Param becomes emotional.
Param: mujhe kuch batana tha.
They broke the hug.
Karan: batao na
Param: wo wapas aayi hai. Usne jail se bail mili hai. He is out.
Karan becomes alert. He knows who exactly is this 'wo'. But he didn't wish to be sad after this happiness.
Karan: Bhaiyya i Don't care. Aane do mein kud usse marungi. Hmm ab wo sab chodo aur mujhe chocolate milkshake banaake dena.
Param: kiss kushi mein.
Karan: itni badi kushkabri hai. Aao naa.
He dragged Param out of his room.
