I groaned as I sat in Lu's office.

"what's wrong?" she asked

I lifted my head and reached up to turn off my hearing aids before I removed them and put them in their little case.

"pain in my damn ass" I replied

she gave a partial smile before going back to what she was doing.

"Gemma says that she's had her annual dinner tonight. think you'll have time to spare?" Ku asked

since I had my hearing aids out her voice was a bit low but I still managed to hear her.

"I have to check my agenda," I tell her before I opened my hands like a book making Lu shake her head and laugh.

"looks like I'm booked solid" I joked

she fully laughed this time.

"come I'm headed over there now. so I'll give you a lift" she says

I nodded my head before getting up and stretching the kinks out before following Lu through the pornstudio as she locks it up and makes sure things are turned off and the alarm is activated before going to her car.

"so hows life of an editor?" she asked

"well I don't have to listen to anyone talking or attempt to talk while I'm working. there isn't any whiny asses complaining about something. so I'd say its good" I replied

"you don't like people do you?" she asked

"nop. cant stand them" I replied

 she pulled up to Gemma's and JT house and we climbed out just as some of the guys rolled up beside Lu's car.

"hi Lu. Hi Titan" TIg greeted

I shook my head at Tig before waving to him and the others before I headed towards the front door.

"well its about time" Gemma says as she opens the door before I could knock.

"was chilling with Lu" I replied as I kissed Gemma's cheek and walked inside 

"how is being at the porn studio chilling?" she asked

"no whinny porn hoes" I replied

"excuse me I'm not whiny" 

I rolled my eyes and looked at Lyla before I went off on her in sign language & only a few of the people around me knew what I was saying.

"What?" she asked

"you don't wanna know," Lu says being one of the select people that know what I said.

Lyla scuffs before she we about doing something or someone while Gemma ushered Lu and I into the kitchen where she was giving orders to croweaters.

"so Tian" Gemma says

I looked at her

"huh?" I asked

"did you get lucky?" she asked

"I swear Gemma you are sometimes worse than Lu when it comes to me getting laid" I replied

"well we wanna know" she says

"I don't kiss and tell Gem" I replied

"so you did" she says

I sighed before just looking at her

"please tell me it wasn't my son" she says

"its he boinking the crow drugie?" I asked

"so, he's a manwhore" Gemma replied

"no I'm not doing your son" I replied

"then who are you doing?" she asked

"myself" I replied

"damn" she says

"can we move past the topic of my sex life?" I asked

"you mean lack of" Lu questioned

I shot her a look and she held her hands up.

"sorry" she says

I shook my head at her and Gemma before I wondered off through the house greeting those who showed up.

When Happy walked in I smiled and waved at him making him smile.

"hi Haps" I greeted walking over and giving him a hug

"Hi Tia," he says 

I walked with Happy over to the table where the croweaters were setting the food down before we all took a seat.

this dinner was surprisingly calm and not full of drama. it's possibly gonna be the last time its ever like this.

everyone was talking about so many different things it was hard to keep up with the topics at hand.

so I'd just watch them talk and would add a few of my senses into a conversation before I went back to saying nothing and just watching.
