Towards Tomorrow (XiaoVen)

Chapter 1

"Good Morning.." Venti said groggily, barely even awake. He looked to see his twin brother, Carmen. They both share a room. It's the most they could do since they live in a small apartment. Venti just sat on his bed staring off into space, not wanting to get up.

Carmen got up first and grabbing his uniform and went into the bathroom to get ready. Venti laid back down and dozed off. It wasn't until Carmen shock him a little that he woke up. "You better get ready Ven, I'll be in the kitchen making breakfast for us." He then left for the kitchen.

Venti slowly got up from his bed, grabbing his uniform and started to change.

While putting on his shirt he realized he was forgetting something. Something important today. Then it hit him, there was transfer student coming to his school today!

To think Venti forgot about it! Everyone was talking about it all day yesterday, and Venti was the first one to offer showing him around. How could he be this stupid! He immediately finished putting his uniform on making sure he looked good. He didn't want to look bad in front of a new classmate. (You always look beautiful😍😘) He looked at himself in the mirror, at his hair mainly. He had always kept it down but today he decided that he want to braid them. After all he want to look good so that they could maybe be friends.

He walked over to the kitchen where he saw Carmen cooking. Venti always felt lucky to have him by his side. He always does the work around the apartment ever since their mom left

Watching his brother make breakfast for the both of them. He decided since Carmen was still making breakfast he'd go back to their room to get his phone and watch something on there til breakfast was ready. "Venti!!! Come down breakfast is almost ready!!" As soon as Venti heard that he went running down stairs as fast as he could. Almost falling down.

Venti POV

I went back stairs to find Carmen setting up the table. He looks more tired than usual. What time exactly did he go to bed? I didn't question it maybe it because of all that homework he's been receiving. Sure glad I'm not in his class. I look at the omelette that he had prepared, I was waiting for Carmen to sit down so I could start eating. And when I finally did I immediately devoured my food. Carmen just sat there chuckling to himself. Oh well, I was to busy eating to even care.

After we both finished we but our dishes in the sink. Eh, we'll wash them after school.

3rd person

As soon as they opened the door they were greeted by Aether. He had his usual grin on his face. Venti did expect him to be there. How long exactly has he been standing there? "How long have you've been waiting out here?" Venti asked. "Heh I just got here." He stuck his tongue out to Venti. Before giving Carmen a bear hug. The audacity! They talked and laughed along the way not caring if people looked at them weird. At least they were happy.

Once they had reached the gate they were greeted by Albedo. "Good morning." Albedo smiled at the three of them, Aether cheeks turning a shade of red. Albedo then looks at Venti, "You braided your hair today? I looks really well on you." "Wait really?" Wow! Aether didn't even realize Venti's hair was braided. "Awww You look so cute Ventiiiii~" Carmen just giggles at the conversation. "Well I have to go to class now, bye." Carmen waved them goodbye before walking away.

They walked with Albedo for a few minutes. Aether getting more and more nervous by the second. Poor Venti, having to watch Aether pining over Albedo for years now. Oh, how he wishes he could tell Albedo, to push him in the right direction. But it's best o let him figure it out on his own.
