Prologue

This is a story about two roommates that were never really interested in labels or the opinions of others, that was until they actually met for the first time.

Eli Sanchez is a player at best and fuckboy at heart, standing at 5'10" he's stout and works hard for his muscular frame, even if for the wrong reasons. Starting his freshman year of college off with a bang, he tries to manage friendships while also finding girls to bring to bed. He moved in early and confident in his choice of women, how will he react when a socially awkward sub walks into his life, beautiful as they are. There is just one problem for Eli, the beautiful human..... is a man.

Jayden Duke has always been a shy college student, he finds it hard to socially connect in groups. He's almost done with his college career, as a student his only downfall has been his lack of friendships and intimacy. He's now a senior in college and has officially given up on trying for love and is only wanting to come out of college with friends. As a last-stitch effort to form friendships he applies for a 4 bedroom apartment with 2 freshmen and 1 sophomore. Will he make just friends, or will he come to realize that one particular freshman will show him he's still got a chance at love.

Forced to live together, the pair learns more about one another than they bargained for and in tow of this situation, feelings seem to follow. How will the two respond to the unbeknownst affection, will they accept it and love one another or will they struggle to keep their secrets within.

A/N 

There will be slight trauma (internalized homophobia) and talk of depression and autistic behaviors.

However, there will be warnings before those chapters for the sake of those with experience in these fields. This book was not made to offend anyone and these subjects will be touched lightly and with consideration.

This is a male x male love story and a slow-burn, if you are not interested in lgbtq+ or slow progress then please advance onward to another story that will appease your interest.

Also, all the characters in this story are 18 years or older, and old enough to make their own decisions. There will not be a point where any of the characters are too young to give consent. This story is placed in Corpus Christi, Texas at a beach side college, so there will be lots of beach scenes and talk of the ocean. Keep in mind that these characters are based on real people and they have real feelings. The issues discussed in this book are real problems that people experience, I ask that you consider others feelings when commenting on more sensitive content.
