It's been a few years since the siege of the Burial Mounds and the transmigration to another world. Wei Ying was seen sitting peacefully on a bench in one of the gardens of Rivendell, the Last Homely House of The East Sea. He watches the scenery, fascinated by the beauty of Middle Earth with his own eyes. The wind blew past him as he pulled a few strands of his hair behind his pointed ears.
Yes, you heard it. Wei Ying has turned into an elf after he got transmigrated to Middle Earth. He didn't believe it at first until his encounter with Glorfindel outside of Rivendell's border. He of course was wary of him because he never met such a creature with blonde hair and pointed ears. Not to mention his ocean-blue eyes which are rare for the former Demonic Cultivator.
He was then brought to meet with the Lord of the Hidden Valley and somehow Wei Ying was welcomed with open arms which is pretty weird by his standards. He was brought to a council with Lord Elrond and at first, he doesn't trust the Elf Lord much. But after seeing his behavior, the Lord of the Hidden Valley patiently waits for the former Demonic Cultivator to talk as well as slowly gaining his trust.
Elrond and his minstrels were all stunned at hearing Wei Ying's stories (he also included the demonic cultivation thing) and couldn't believe that he was betrayed by his own world. The Lord of the House of the Golden Flower was also stunned and grimaced. The thought of it reminded him of Maeglin's betrayal and the Fall of Gondolin where he fell to his death until his reborn.
After the council session, Wei Ying decided that he was going to forget his past and move on to his new life in Middle Earth. But that doesn't mean he would forget the Dafan Wens that he tried to protect including his little Radish A-Yuan. He hoped that the souls of the Wens be at peace and be able to reincarnate into their next life. Wei Ying was able to cleanse the demonic energy within him with the help of the White Council (minus Saruman the White), turning him into a mediocre person. He then was interested in the ways of the Elves and adapts quickly to their unique culture.
Wei Ying did meet with Elrond's children, Elladan, Elrohir, and Arwen. He also met the Elf Lord's human ward named Estel who he know later as Aragorn, Isildur's Heir. Lindir and Erestor have become fond of the raven-haired elf as he is now considered the youngest of their kin, much to Wei Ying's disagreement.
The raven-haired elf had offered his service as repayment for giving him a home in Rivendell but Elrond refused and instead, he was offered into teaching the Elves about his old world's cultures in exchange for learning Middle Earth's histories. Wei Ying then took the offer and start teaching them the ways of a cultivator at the Halls of Fire. He even mimics the old goat, Lan Qiren back when he went to Gusu for lectures. The Elves were enjoying the lessons and that captures the eyes of a certain blonde elf.
He smiled at the thought and heard familiar light footsteps, not caring to turn around to see who was behind him.
"I was wondering where have you been all afternoon and here you are, sitting here doing nothing." A mischievous voice made its way to Wei Ying's side as Glorfindel sat next to him. Wei Ying chuckled and gave him a small smirk.
"Well, if it weren't for the view here, I would have left you for it long ago." He said to the blonde elf. Glorfindel laughed at his raven-haired lover as he wrapped Wei Ying's waist with his right arm, putting his chin on top of his head. Wei Ying leaned his head on the blonde elf's shoulder, grabbing his free hand with his left hand.
"How's your day?"
"What do you think? It's the same as always."
That's right. You heard me, folks! Glorfindel and Wei Ying are courting each other and it happened in an instant.
The Noldor elf was intrigued by the raven-haired elf's culture and every day, he would follow each lesson until one day while he was listening to one of the former cultivator's stories, he accidentally made eye contact with him. The blonde elf felt a tug in his fea when the former cultivator gave him a small smile. The bright silver eyes that can rival the reflection of Mithril meeting with his bright ocean-blue eyes. At first, he ignored it as he thought it was some sort of admiration towards the raven-haired elf but after some time, he discovered that he was falling in love with Wei Ying thanks to his frequent council with Erestor, much to his annoyance.
Glorfindel had thought of this many times as he remembered Wei Ying's stories of him being betrayed by the ones he trusted and didn't want to make him remember his past trauma and trust issues. He thought of approaching the former cultivator slowly by sending him flowers, cookies, or poetry and somehow it works pretty well.
Wei Ying on the other hand was a bit confused about Glorfindel's approach. He thought that the gifts were some sort of welcoming him though it has been years since he adapted well in Middle Earth but he didn't mind. Until to a certain extent when he found out that Glorfindel actually wants to court him. The former cultivator frowned at the idea of courting but then realized the gifts that he received from the blonde elf and decided to confront him.
Glorfindel thought that he could hide his feelings and forgot that it never exist but he knew that he was wrong. Elves can only love once and other than getting slain in battle, they can die from grief and heartbroken. The Noldor elf was then suddenly confronted by the former cultivator and much to his reluctance, Glorfindel finally told Wei Ying the truth. (A/N: He got himself into kabedon)
Wei Ying knew of the Elves' histories and cultures, all thanks to Lord Elrond's teachings and yes, he pitied them for their fates. But that doesn't stop him from getting the words coming out of Glorfindel's mouth. Glorfindel thought that he's gonna hate him after the confession as he looks down, not wanting to see Wei Ying's face. But what he didn't know is that Wei Ying also holds a bit of admiration for the golden-haired elf. He stared at him for a few seconds, getting the whole information to enter his head.
A melodic laugh rang in Glorfindel's ears as he watched the former cultivator laugh, arms on his stomach. Wei Ying laughs until tears come out of his eye, wiping them with his finger. Glorfindel was confused and didn't find it funny as he asked him what was funny.
The raven-haired elf stopped laughing as he answered the blonde elf's question. "You're a fool for an elf but of course, you're a fool in love. This feeling that whatever I just experiencing right now is the same as yours."
The Noldor elf was dumbfounded and couldn't believe the words that come right out of the former cultivator's mouth. Glorfindel then grinned and picked him up, spinning him around. Wei Ying giggled at the blonde elf (his blonde elf)'s antics. Glorfindel put him down and pull his new lover close to him, looking down at his lips as if he was asking him for permission. Wei Ying didn't think twice as he pulled the neck collar of his tunic down to his height, smashing their lips together.
Wei Ying was reminiscing about the memory and he didn't realize that his blonde lover was staring at him, wondering what is he thinking. "Reminiscing something, are we?" He smirked. Wei Ying snapped out of his thoughts and look at Glorfindel playing with the strands of his hair.
"I doubt that you even remember it much to my amusement. Remember our first confession?" Glorfindel grabbed Wei Ying's left hand, pull it up to his lips, and kissed it. "How could I forget the first memory of us starting this relationship? You're the one who wants it in the first place, meleth nin~" He winked.
Wei Ying chuckled as his face blushed in pink colors, slightly embarrassed by his joke. "Aren't you the charmer? As far as I know, you're the one who confessed first, didn't you?" He counters back. The Noldor laughed as he pull his lover in a bear hug. Wei Ying was comforted by the blonde elf's warmth and he felt safe from all of his demons and nightmares. For him, Glorfindel is the light of his dark and lonely world while for Glorfindel, Wei Ying is his cute little raven.
"Do you miss them? Your old world?" Glorfindel asked him and his silence spoke everything. "Of course, I miss them but sometimes I felt like I did not belong there anymore. The guilt that I was burdened with, how could I not forget? I was the one who caused this mess in the first place and I'd fixed it on my own! But no one saw it and I was always blamed for it! Jiang Cheng, Shijie, Uncle Jiang, Madam Yu, Jin Zixuan, Wen Ning, Qing Jie, Granny, Fourth Uncle, Jin Ling, and A-yuan... I'm so tired of all this mess..." Wei Ying cried as he gripped his lover's tunic and was shaken by the memories of his guilty past. Glorfindel couldn't do anything but comfort his little lover, whispering to his ears that everything is alright.
Wei Ying sniffled and wiped his tears, apologizing for wetting his lover's tunic but Glorfindel smiled, saying that he needed it. The blonde elf wrapped his arms around his little lover, kissing him and putting their foreheads together.
Silver meets ocean blue... Nothing can stand in the way no matter what consequences they face in the future.
"I love you, nin maethor."
"And I, you, mime titta raven."
*Meleth nin: my love
*Nin maethor: my warrior
*Mime titta raven: my little raven
