Paul was the first to open his eyes after the familiar sweet smell hit him. Still tired he blinks his trying to fight against the sleep that was caused by the sun. Looking down his eyes scan the room, " O?" Letting go of the bar he was hanging upside down on he lands next her, " Guys" he yells, looking her over he saw blood not only coming from her head but a gunshot wound to her side, " David" he yells, looking up towards the three hanging. David drops from the bar, landing near them, " What happened?" the last two vampires drop and make their way over to them. Paul looks down at the girl, "Octavia" a growl comes from David, he turns around to see Michael standing there flashlight in hand, standing David heads towards him, "This is your fault" he yells, grabbing ahold of Michael and throwing him into the wall, Michael lets out a pained groan as he pushes himself off the floor, he doesn't get far when David grabs him by the throat, "You should of became one of us" David snaps, he slams Michael into the cave wall causing him to cry out in pain " The Frog brothers are here" Michael gasps out, David's hold gets tighter and his eyes turn goldish yellow, " You should of just left us alone" he snaps bringing Michael closer to him. The sound of Michaels racing heart makes David smirk, he would give anything to kill the man before him, only thing that was stopping him is Octavia, "' Help her" Michael gasped out, David growls lowly, how was he supposed to help Octavia when theres hunters in the cave and the sun out, " David" Dwayne said, he turns his head towards his mate, her heart beat slowing, " She needs blood" Marko said looking up from where he kneeled, holding an old rag to Octavia's side. David looks back towards Michael, " Lucky contestant" he said smirking at him. Michael tries to push him away but couldn't. David drags Michael over to Octavia "Let him go" everyone looks up including Michael. David glares at the hunters that killed them last time, but this time David wouldn't allow it " Stop" Michael yells, watching as Edgar pulls out a gun pointing it at David, Sam appears next to the hunters and Tyler next to him. David's hold on Michael gets tighter, " Let him go" Sam said, he aims his bow down at David who clenches his jaw. Slowly David let's go of Michael, he expected him to run over to Octavia or even over towards the group of hunters but he stands next to him, " Sammy" Michael said, he takes a step forward arms slightly raised, Michael took notice of Tyler slowly moving away from them and over towards where Octavia was, " Are you really going to kill her. My daughter, your niece" he snaps angry at his younger brother for even thinking about killing Octavia, Sam looks away from his brother not being able to look him in the eyes, " They've gotten you so messed up Sam that you'd hurt your own family. Your niece who you watched growing up, the one you took to the first day of high school because she was so nervous" he said, Sam clenches his jaw as his hold on the bow tightens turning his knuckles white. Edger raises a gun filled with holy water towards the other vampires, " That doesn't matter, she's not her and when she becomes a vampire she'll be gone" he said, Alan raises the gun towards Michael and places his finger on the trigger, "Stand down" he said, a low growl came from David, he was tired of having guns pointed at him and his boys, he could careless about what happened to Michael, all he cared about was getting his mate and brothers farther into the cave to safety, or kill the hunters. Alan looks between the four vampires and human, letting out a small sigh he looks at Michael, " I'm sorry" he said before Edger pulls the trigger on the gun spraying the two vampire closest to them in the face and chest. Screams of pain come from Paul and Marko, Dwayne moved out of the way just in time, nearly missing the water. David let out a loud roar as he goes for one of the hunters, Dwayne doing the same. Michael starts to run towards Octavia but stops when he sees Sam aim an arrow towards Paul who was attacking Edger along with Marko, "Sammy" Michael yells catching his brothers attention, he shakes his head while looking up at him with pleading eyes, " Sammy don't. Just for a second Sam stop and think" he said, Sam lowers the bow faltering a little. Closing his eyes he shakes his head, " I can't, one person to save hundreds, even thousands Mikey" he mumbles, before pulling the string on the bow back taking aim once again, " No" Sam goes to let the arrow go when he gets slammed into the cave wall causing him to drop the bow. Sam opens his eyes to be met with his nieces face, only this time it was transformed into a monster with goldish yellow eyes, " Sorry Uncle Sam " she whispers before she slams the back of his head into the cave wall knocking him out, she couldn't kill her uncle even though he was willing to kill her mates and her. Turning around she picking up the bow and snaps it in half before throwing it away from her. Looking around her eyes meet her fathers, he stood there in shock not being able to move from his spot, " Octavia" he whispers, but how? Michael turns his head, his eyes landing on Tyler who sat against the rocks holding his wrist. Michael looks back towards his daughter to see her fighting Edger, looking around Michael noticed that Marko was down, a stake just below his heart. Taking in a deep breath Michael made his way over to him and bent down, " Hold still" he snaps, earning a glare from the youngest vampire. Grabbing ahold of the stake Michael takes in a deep breath before pulling it out, earning a deep growl from him, he backs up and turns just in time to see David tear into Edgers neck causing the hunter to yell, "Edger" Alan raised a stake bringing it down towards Paul who had his hands covering his face again due to getting sprayed with holy water, " No" Octavia screams, before the stake can meet its mark Dwayne comes up from behind Alan and grabs his head. Alan drops the stake and grabs Dwaynes hands trying to pull them away and fight back but it's no use, Dwayne gives one fast twist snapping the hunters neck. Everyone watches as last hunter falls to the cave floor dead, Michael stands there not knowing what to do. Slowly he starts making his way towards the rock wall to climb up it when he's grabbed by the back of the neck, " David stop" Octavia yells, the platinum blond glares up at the her, Octavia shakes her head before jumping down landing right next to them, " Don't, please" she whispers looking between her father and mate. Sure her father fucked up years ago and even now but he had just helped somewhat, she couldn't let him die, " David" Dwayne said, he looks at the three carefully, he didn't like Michael, in fact he hated Michael just as much as David but he didn't want to see Octavia hurt, none of them did. Letting out a loud growl David pushes Michael away, if Octavia wasn't standing beside her father he would of went face first into the cave wall. Shooting David a glare she helps her father become steady on his feet, " Get them out of here" David snaps towards Michael and Octavia both nod their heads towards him. Octavia slowly let go of her father and walked towards Tyler who still sat on the ground back against the rocky wall, bending down she ignores the smell of his blood, it makes her mouth water and eyes change color, "Come on" she whispers lowly but he heard. Slowly Tyler stood up, " I can climb" he said, Octavia nods her head and took a step back understanding that he didn't want her to touch him. Taking in a breath Octavia looks towards her father to see he wasn't in his spot, instead he was helping Sam up. Octavia flew up standing on the rock ledge, " Sam I'm-" "Don't" he whispers not even looking at her. Octavia felt her heart crack slightly, out of all her years, she's never heard Sam use that tone with her. Swallowing she nods her head staying right where she was. The four vampires stood at the bottom watching carefully, they noticed how Octavia's face fell when her uncle talked to her, or even when Tyler declined her help. A small grunt came from the left of the collapsed elevator shaft, a laugh came from Paul while Marko bit his thump nail letting out a chuckle of his own, " Need help Ty?" Paul asks another laugh coming from him. Tyler didn't say anything, but who could blame him, he just helped Octavia become a vampire and his uncles were killed. Not like they were close but, family is family. Even such a weird one like the Frogs. Octavia gave a small sigh before making her way towards the struggling boy, bending down she held out her hand, Tyler looked up at her " Take it" she mumbles glancing towards her four mates who watched in amusement, not caring to help the struggling boy. Tyler rolls his eyes but grabs onto her hand, swiftly like he weighed nothing, Octavia pulls him up. Making sure he was good and not going to fall back Octavia let go of his hand, "Thank you" Tyler said before walking past her. Octavia turned around hoping to see her father and uncle but they were already gone, "Oh" she whispers very lowly. If it wasn't for vampire hearing the four vampires wouldn't of been able to hear her. Octavia looks at the Frog brothers. Some hunters. Scoffing she shakes her head, if only they had listened to her and just left. An arm wraps around her shoulders, "Welcome to the vampire life" Paul said kissing the side of her head, Octavia shook her head realization finally settling in, she was no longer human, she would no longer age or die. Giving Paul a small smile she turns around facing the other three down below, " Let's get some sleep" David said, Octavia nods her head agreeing, she forgot the sun was still out high in the sky. Taking in a deep breath she watches the boys fly up to the rail and hang upside down by their feet, " It's not that hard" Dwayne said, nodding her head she kicked off her socks and flies up to the bar settling between Marko and David. Closing her eyes she sighs, with the two hunters dead the group could rest easy, for now at least. Slowly sleep started to take Octavia, and she welcomed it for knowing that when the sun fell below the horizon the boys and her would awake, and head off towards the boardwalk. In that small few moments she was awake she decided being a vampire wouldn't be that bad, sleep all day, party all night. Never grow old and never die. Being a vampire was going to be fun.
