A/N - This is the third book in the 'Daughter Of Rachel Mason serires. In order to understand this I'd reccomend you read the first two books. A few things to know; Chloe married Max and Charlotte married Tom. Aubree is four and a half, Taitlyn is three and Isla and Lillie are both one. Rachel doesn't work at the school so she works at the LEA, Eddie owns a pub. Max is still headteacher and Vaughn is assistant head. There'll be some familar faces returning for this. Chloe and Charlotte are both student teachers. Without further ado - Let's begin

It had been a month since Charlotte had lost the baby and she had never been the same. She had hardly been out of bed and she hardly looked after Taitlyn and Lillie which upset them both, Tom didn't know what to do, he didn't know weather to sit with Charlotte while she made herself bad or play with his girls to make them happy. He was torn.
Chloe had just done Aubree and Isla something to eat as they were both moaning for food "Mummy when is Daddy coming back?" Chloe smiled "soon" Max was still the Head at Waterloo Road although there was hardly anyone there from Rochdale apart from Tom.
Chloe's Mum had offered to have Aubree and Isla that night so before Max came back Chloe was going to take them over "Mummy do I have to go too Nanny's?" Chloe nodded "yeah, because she wants to see you and Isla" Aubree nodded "can I take my toys?" Chloe grinned "yeah not too many though" Aubree giggled and went upstairs. When she came back down Chloe had put Isla's coat on "I'm ready Mummy" Chloe smiled "come and get your coat on then" Aubree nodded.
Arriving at her Mum's Chloe received a text from Max -
Max - Where are you?
Chloe - Taking the girls to my Mum, I'll be back soon.
Chloe sighed as Aubree spoke "I haven't seen Daddy!" Chloe smiled "you'll see him tomorrow" Aubree nodded and Chloe took Isla from the car "there's Nanny!" Chloe grinned "go on then" Aubree ran up the path to Rachel who scooped her Granddaughter up into her arms "hiya love" Chloe smiled "hi, they've both been fed so they should be okay" Rachel nodded as she took Isla from Chloe "aren't you coming in?" Chloe shook her head "no I should go, things to do, I'll pick them up tomorrow" Rachel nodded.
Max sat at home waiting for Chloe. When she came back he called her into the living room "I've been thinking Max and maybe we should go over and see Charlotte" Max nodded "okay" Chloe smiled "thanks" Max pulled Chloe onto his lap "anything for you" Chloe kissed him passionatley on the mouth "quicker we go there quicker we can continue this" Max smirked.
Chloe and Max arrived outside Tom and Charlotte's "come on then, let's get this done". Knocking on the door Chloe grinned at Tom when he answered "Max has something to say to Charlotte" Tom nodded and let them in "Chloe can you go and talk to her?" Chloe nodded and she went upstairs into the bedroom.
Chloe was shocked at seeing Charlotte like that "Charl, it's me Chloe" Charlotte didn't speak "look, Max wants to apologise for what happened, he's downstairs waiting" Charlotte just nodded "how about we go downstairs together and let him say sorry" Charlotte just nodded so Chloe helped her out of bed.
They went downstairs and Chloe took Charlotte into the living room and motioned for Tom to get Lillie and Taitlyn and then go into the kitchen.
Max looked at Charlotte and spoke "I'm sorry for what happened" Charlotte looked up at him and nodded "thank you, I needed to hear that" Max smiled "you should know that you're not alone, everyone is there for you" Charlotte smiled the first smile in ages "thank you Max". Chloe and Tom came back in and saw Charlotte smiling "is everything okay?" Charlotte nodded "yeah, I'm trying to move on" Chloe walked over and hugged Charlotte "I'm always here if you need to talk" Charlotte smiled "thanks".
Chloe and Max left so Tom put Taitlyn and Lillie to bed and went to sit with Charlotte "are you alright?" Charlotte nodded "I will be, I have you and our two girls" Tom smiled and kissed her "I love you" "I love you too". They both went to bed and fell asleep instantly.
Chloe climbed into bed while Max went for a shower. When he came in Chloe had just been sent a text by her Mum saying both girls were asleep "problem?" Chloe shook her head "no, you made Charlotte smile, thanks" Max smirked as he climbed into bed and kissed Chloe "you're beautiful" Chloe grinned as Max began kissing her. A few hours later they both fell asleep.
