i didnt want to leave but my dad got a new job and i didnt have a say in what we did! i was only 16 at the time and i had 3 brothers me the only girl. well my mom died when i was 14 and my dad is still getting over it which makes me the mom of the house. my dads always at work which means im always at home with my brothers. i dont have that many friends if i think about it i really only have one and her names Kayla. me and Kayla have been friends since i was 10. Kayla is always there for me and its going to be hard to leave her!
i snapped out of my daydream by Kayla saying Kristen, Kristen! i turned around and noticed i was doing it again i always just stop and stare at random things. its like my habbit. i guess it just gives me time to think. i turned to Kayla she was staring at me. i looked at her with a smile. she grabbed my arm and said ok come on Kristen!
school just got out so we went straight to my house. i was leaving tomorrow morning and i was supper sad i didnt want to leave my home that i grew up in and i didnt want to leave Kayla she was my rock what would i do without her?
when we got to my house Josh ran up to me with a smile i looked at him and said josh what did you do? josh was 13 and was always getting in trouble. he just stood there looking at me with a smile. then i heard zack around the corner he ran straight up to me with a smile on his face to. zack was 7 and was a total taddel tale. i said zack what happened? zack looked at me and said welllll josh was running away from leo when he ran into the flower vase and it sort of broke. leo was 16 and my twin. i just stared at zack and said zack which vase? right when i said that leo walked up to the door to and said it was the one right by the kitchen table! i walked in the house with Kayla and all my brothers right behind me. when i got to the vase i saw what one he was talking about. it was the vase that my mom bought me before she died. so this just put another thing to my list of what i wanted to cry about. i looked at my brothers and said josh go get the broom and leo go get a towel. they both did as told when they got back i cleaned it all up and went and sat down on the couch.
my dad got home around 6 and when he did he sure looked tired. i already made dinner and everyone already ate so my dad went into the kitchen and got a plate. when he came out he smiled at all of us kids including Kayla. me and Kayla were hopping my dad would let Kayla spend the night! so when he finally sat down i ran over to him gave him a big hug and asked how his day was. he looked at me with a smile and said oh honey i had i wonderful day what about you? i saw that he was lieing mmy dad really was bad at lieing but i just put it off to the side and told him i had a good day to. i turned around and looked at Kayla she was smiling at me. i turned back to my dad and said well dad you know how were leaving tomorrow i was wondering if Kayla could spend the night? my dad looked at the both of us and said sure she can but dont stay up to late! we both said ok. then ran up stairs.
i didnt have that many more things to pack just my bathroom stuff and my makeup which i would pack them both in the morning.
me and Kayla both laied on my bed when Kayla turns to me and says, Kristen i really am going to miss you! i looked at her and said im going to miss you to. i started tearing up nd then it came both of us in sobs. we finally stopped crying at 1 o'clock in the morning. when we finished crying i turned to her and smiled she did the same. we popped in another movie and soon fell aslep!
