"He's coming! He's coming!" I heard Bram yell long before I saw him standing at the turning, his loud voice booming from the other side. I slowed the pace of my motorcycle, trying to hear more of his conversation with his stupid friends who were cackling like a bunch of hyenas.
"I'm leaving. I don't want to be a part of this anymore," One of them said. "You guys better be careful. Don't go too far or you'll get your butts kicked."
"Don't worry, Zander will never hit me." Bram laughed like the idiot he was.
That was Bram's biggest delusion. He knew I would hit him if need be. After all, he had been through that more times to count. If he was lying so openly, then he must have brought some newbies to show off. It made me wonder if his busted lip healed already.
As I rounded the corner, Bram was standing halfway in the middle of the road, his entourage right beside him, all of them dressed like people from some criminal gang.
Even though they were all clad in black, Bram still stood out with his bright blue hair. I noticed his lip had healed completely as he turned it up in a lopsided smirk, grey eyes shining with mischief.
He whispered something to the guys flocked around him, making them cackle like madmen. Two of them were perched on their bikes while a shorter guy stood right beside Bram, his hands crossed on his front.
"Hey, faggot! Where are you going all dressed up? Are you going on a date, you homo?"
