History:

Ryu Katsuri was used by Shocker to become the original Hopper series cyborg but their plans changed after Takeshi Hongo escaped. When the Double Riders destroyed the Shocker base before Katsuri could be awakened he was buried under the rubble for 51 years.

Awakening in the 21st century, Katsuri has no memories of his past and begins his quest to regain his memories while trying to figure out who turned him into a cyborg. Along the way he encounters one of the remaining Shocker Kaijin while changing into Hopper 0.

Ryu regains his memories over the course of the story. He was originally a high school student who lived with his father and was part of the Kendo club. Over the course of the series, Ryu would have continuous mental encounters with the Great Leader of Shocker. With help from Legendary Rider Takeshi Hongo and the other 6 legendary riders.

The stone stored inside of him that gave Ryu his powers was removed. The Showa Era Kamen Riders up to ZX then put some of their powers into Ryu in the form of the Rider Syndrome to keep him alive and give him a boost of energy. Ryu as the now transformed Kamen Rider Kyomori would fight against the Great Leader and after a hard battle defeats him with a Rider Kick but is consumed in an explosion.

After the battle, from the eplosion that consumed Kyomori and Great Leader, Katsuri came out with victory, he then return back to school but is always force to keep fighting the new reformed Rebirth-Shocker as Kamen Rider Kyomori.

Transformation State:

Hopper 0/ホッパー０号 Hoppā 0-gō/Rei-gō, (Kaijin Name/Origianl Form, Evolved into Kyomori) Kamen Rider Kyomori/仮面ライダーキョウモリ Kamen Raidā Kyoumori (Rider Name/Current Form)

Transformation Belt: Solar Wind (ソーラウインド[太陽風], Sōrā Uindo) Ryu Katsuri transforms into Kyomori by performing the "Henshin", a series of moves which activates the revolving piston of the Solar Wind, and then converts the accumulated wind energy to blow into the turbine on the belt, activating his battle suit and transformation mask, transforming Katsuri into Kamen Rider Kyomori.

Transformation Mask: Foldable Type Mask (折畳式仮面, Oritata-shiki Kamen) During the transformation, Kyomori's mask will form from the battle suit with the back of the mask forming over his head as the front of the mask and the faceplate snap together, connecting them completes the transformation.

Battle Suit: Strengthen Suit (強化衣, Kyōka i): The Strengthen Suit is a battle suit created by Shocker to maximize the use of Katsuri's super-human abilities while also protecting the wearer from the negative side-effects of Attacks from Shocker Members, after losing the stone and gaining the power of the Rider Syndrome, The Strengthen Suit increases the maximize capability of Katsuri's super-human abilities.

Rider Machine Photon Cyclone(フォトンサイクロン, Foton Saikuron): The Photon Cyclone takes the form of an off-road bike and can be ridden by Katsuri. When Katsuri transforms into Kamen Rider Kyomori the switch for the bike is also activated and the bike becomes an on-road bike.

Super-Human Abilities:

Endurance: Katsuri can withstand things no normal human can such as being in a freezing environment for long periods of time, or falling thousands of feet in air.

Extraordinary Jumping: Katsuri can jump far higher than an ordinary human.

Enhanced Reflexes: Katsuri has excellent reflexes, he is quick enough to deflect energy bullets. When fighting Zetoron, Katsuri can reflect back Zetoron's energy blasts with his own energy bolts.

Acceleration: He is capable of accelerating to high speeds, even for long distances. At times, he is enveloped by a blue glow.

Energy Blast: Katsuri can fire yellow energy blasts from his hands.
