Y/n woke up in her bedroom, the sun's rays beamed through her window as she sat up. she groggily got up, sleepiness still lingering as she made her way to the kitchen.
'Strange, I never felt this tired before' She thought to herself.
SpongeBob was always the first to greet her.
"Good morning sleeping beauty! How yo-WHOA!" He abruptly noticed y/n drowsiness. "You look like you've never had any sleep last night!"
"I'm fine, just make me some coffee and I'll be wide awake."
"No can do missy, you're going straight to bed and resting," SpongeBob said sternly while pushing Y/n toward her room.
"But I'm fine, really!" Y/n tried to reason with him, but the attempt seemed futile.
When they finally reached Y/n 's room, SpongeBob opened the door beckoning her inside, with Scarlett following behind. Y/n got right to bed as SpongeBob watched.
"Now you get some good sleep and just in case, I'm staying right here till you sleep." Spongebob said.
"Aren't you overreacting a little too much?"
"Pfft, of course not." SpongeBob responded, getting in bed with her and giving her a hug with the blanket covering them both.
Y/N's POV
He was hugging me to the point where even I couldn't push him away.
'Someone please stop him before he squeezes me to death!'
Luckily Danny was the first to enter the room.
"Hey Y/n could I borrow- oh..." He stopped abruptly noticing us close together.
'Danny please...help.'
"I'll...come back another time." Danny said, slowly backing out of the room.
'I'm doomed...'
Scarlett jumped on the bed next to Spongebob, Its fur glistening in the sunlight. It stood on its hind legs, paws pressed against his legs as if it wanted something.
"Meow"
Spongebob looked at the little kitten as it continually called out as if it was wanting something.
"What is it? Are you hungry already?" He asked as he picked up the kitten. He got up and headed towards the door.
'Saved by a kitten'
"You stay right here and get some sleep, I'll also tell the others not to disturb you." Spongebob said with a smile before closing the door.
"Greaaat, now I'm stuck here." I sighed to myself. I didn't feel like sleeping yet so I went to my drawer to take out F/B to read.
"Cosmo, Wanda? Where are you guys?"
I was interrupted by Timmy's calling from the other side of the door which kinda made me curious.
Timmy's POV
"I don't get It, It's not like them to disappear like that." I told Danny, getting worried about them more and more.
"Didn't they tell you before they left?" Danny asked.
"No...they didn't, Where could they have gone to?"
"Back to fairy world of course."
We both jumped when Jimmy stepped in to speak.
"Well, why didn't they tell me?"
"They told me it was urgent and didn't have the time to tell you." Jimmy explained.
I began to notice that Jimmy had bags under his eyes as if he hadn't had any sleep, Danny began to notice that too.
"Umm...Have you been up all night?" Danny asked, "Cause it seems to me like you haven't got any sleep lately."
"I'll just have coffee."
"That's what Y/n said before she got shut in her room from Spongebob." I said, hoping that Jimmy might do something about it.
"I'll talk to him about that later, for now, there's something I need to discuss with all of you in my lab."
~~~~2 Hours later~~~~
Y/N's Pov
"Ugh...I'm bored." I complained rather to myself, putting the book down as I got out of bed. I then stopped, noticing that it was quiet outside my room. I cautiously opened the door hoping Spongebob wouldn't catch me in the act. Surprisingly, he didn't. In fact, The whole house was quiet. Too quiet for comfort.
"Jimmy? Danny? Are you guys here?"
No answer.
'Maybe they went out? If that's the case shouldn't they have told me before they left?' It was strange that they would leave unnoticed at this time of day and I was getting worried.
Something tells me to go to Jimmy's lab so I went to check there first...
When I got to the bottom of the stairs, I could see that some of the equipment was missing.
'Don't tell me they went there again...even after-' My thoughts were interrupted when something caught my eye. Amongst the boxes barely visible, Something yellow shined making me curious as I walked towards the source, the portal turned on by itself presumably that they had returned.
Suddenly, Danny burst out of the portal. Breathing profusely as if he's on the verge of collapsing.
