--3rd person pov--
"Xiao! Get up, the boss(2nd) has something to tell you. He's downstairs waiting for you to get up, change quickly, you don't want to keep him waiting right?"
Xiao groaned in annoyance and replied back "I'll be there, wait for me." Xiao said in a cold tone, "Alright just be quick, boss is getting impatient."
A few minutes later Xiao finished changing and went downstairs, he heard a chilling tone "You're here. Have a seat, I have important matters to talk with you." Xiao went and have a sit beside his father.
"What is it?"
"I want you to find out or spy out the other organization that has been our opponent for a long time."
"What about it?" Xiao said in both an annoyed tone and a cold tone
"I want you to disguise yourself in that organization and find out what their planning to do and find any documents even their oldest experiment /Test Subject and his documents aswell, it might be needed in the future for further... inspection."
"That's it?"
"That's it. Get ready, I'll send you there there next week. Prepare early so I won't have to worry." Xiao got even more annoyed by the fact that he gets these kinds of missions for the past years, it was nothing new to him. 'Ugh, this old man thinks I'm a servant to him, what's so special about these organizations anyways? Forget it, I'll get ready early do he won't scold me or yell at me.'
Xiao prepared in an hour and was tired from packing, he went downstairs to check up on him, there he was waiting for him to come down
"Father, I'm finished packing, what else do you want me to do?"
Zhongli looked at where the sound was and saw Xiao descending on the stairs.
"Ah, you're finished, come, sit, I have more explanation to give you other than spying. Let's get started shall we?"
He nodded and he continued speaking "I want you to befriend one of the top quality experiment/Test Subject for information on what their goal is, if you can't Extract information from them, find a way."
Xiao sighed at all of the work he has to do whenever he's despatched on the spot "Alright, that's what I'm supposed to do only right? Shouldn't be that hard." Xiao said in a over confident tone
"Yes, that's what you'll only do, but do not underestimate their experiment/Test Subject, he's practically skilled in knowledge, skills, investigation and more. And I want you to take him with you when you finish your mission without the other scientists knowing, that's the the experiment you'll be dealing with."
"Easy enough" Xiao always thought that he can pass any missions without problem, and he always did
"Don't underestimate him Xiao, he's smarter than you, he can even guess whether you're lying or not just by looking into your eyes, just please don't underestimate him." Zhongli begged
Xiao just rolled his eyes
"Alright, if you want me to use him, you should give me some information on what he looks, I'll get on with it."
Zhongli sighed heavily and picked up a small file that Ganyu gave
"He has a small figure, has braids with a teal highlight on the tips of his hair and has amazing investigation or detective skills, even his leadership is impressive, that's what we can come up with based on the limited info we got after our previous spy died. Due to that experiment of theirs but before he died he already shipped the info to us. Both talented and skilled in uncovering missing knowledge that people haven't discovered yet, he's like a machine that can recognize whether you're lying or not, a perfection yeah?"
Xiao was irritated that the boy in their Subject is getting mentioned in their conversation has such kind of skill. 'I should get him myself, he can be useful in our experiments in the future, even tho I'm an experiment/Test Subject myself, I should improve myself aswell.' Xiao thought
"I will do it, as long as our organization strives and in need of knowledge, that's fine by me."
"That's great, now go, rest we're going tomorrow, it will be a long trip."
Zhongli's thoughts
Using 004 isn't that bad, he carries on and on on his work without argue, this is a good subject that Doctor picked.
Xiao nodded and left the table and went upstairs to sleep early 'I will get him myself, he will be ours(aka mine)' He thought while changing into his pajamas and went to sleep.
