Chapter 1 : The Day It All Started

'Huff huff'

I was breathing heavily while running away from an unknown creature

'I need to run fast! If I don't I might die!'

Thoughts of dying were sending chills down my spine. Suddenly, I tripped

'Ugghhh!

I can't stand it anymore!'

Tears were running down my cheeks.

'I need to get up

I had a dreadful headache and I had gotten tired of running with a hungry stomach. I don't even know how many days has it already been

"How the hell did I end up here?! What the hell did I even do to suffer like this? Oh god! Why did u make me so miserable? Tell me why?!!!!!

I cried in grief

"Waaaahhhh!!!"

That's all I could do life made me so helpless I couldn't even live with the freedom I've always dreamed of. Why was life so unfair? I always thought. But I couldn't get a proper answer. Maybe I was fated to live a miserable life.

'Damn it!!! Why?! What did I even do?!!! Why does it have to be me?!!! Why am I the only one who always has to suffer? My life was always shitty but why does it have to become so awful?!

It's all because of that game! That damn game if I knew beforehand I wouldn't have been suffering like this. I would have lived a better life
It all began on a certain night.

When the rain was pouring over heavily nothing could be seen outside. The sky was growling as if it were crying, it looked as if something was going to descend from the sky and destroy everything on its way. The heavy wind was blowing as if it was ready to blow away everything with it. The view outside the window looked like something out of a horror movie. My mood was already not good. It became worst because of the rain. I cursed and got up from the couch to go back to my chamber. Suddenly, I heard something like a knock on the door. At first, I thought it was just a hallucination so I just ignored it.
Bang bang

Suddenly someone started to bang on the door as if he was trying to break it
My heart was throbbing at a fast pace, I replied half-heartedly

"Who's there?!"

But there was no reply, only the sound of wind could be heard

' Is someone trying to prank me or what? If it is then whoever it is he's dead! But still, who would be crazy enough to do something this crazy at this hour?'

When there was no reply I went to the door to check

' crreeeccck '

"Huh?"

What I saw next was something very unexpected

'What's this? A package? Where did this even come from?'

I thought this was suspicious. Why would anyone send me a package? So I inspected it to see who the sender was.

"Huh? Anonymous? What's inside? "
I ripped off the tape and the cover and the thing inside I found was a game!

"What is this a game?!!!"

I got excited for a moment, maybe they sent this to the wrong address?! What's the name of it?

'Last cry?'

'I've never heard the name of this game before. Maybe it's new in the market! Should I try playing it? Let's just first read the manual

I opened the manual to see the game genre.

"It's horror! "

I got excited because horror was one of my favorite genres. I didn't want to waste more of my time I wanted to play this new game this instant. I placed it in my game console, but it took some time to load and when it finally did It showed a blank page with an option to write down the user's name.

I did as it was telling me to When I finished writing my name another option showed up it was more like a warning ' once you start the game there's no way back, do you still want to continue?' I pressed continue without giving it a thought. Suddenly, a new page opened up. Its surface was black and there was something written on it. Huh? What language is it? It seemed like it was telling me to read it and I did.

' The soul that lingers on the dark side of the world

I give thee the blood, The sacrifices of thy humble servants

Rise from death!'

Hmm? Is this a poem or what? I wish I could understand it.

The Hurricane outside was getting worse. The sky seemed like crying no it was more like it was taking out its anger. The cloud was rumbling

" Such a dark and stormy night " she whispered

I suddenly had a thought. Maybe I should just turn it off. I'll try it tomorrow. Maybe today is not a good day. No matter how much I love horror games. I don't want to have nightmares

"Achoo!!!"

Suddenly, I felt a cold chill. It took me some time to realize that the room temperature was getting cold.

Why is getting chilly when it's still summer?' I thought

Is it because of the rain?

I looked back at the screen and there was nothing on it that went black.
Suddenly the light went off.

" Ugh, What the hell is going wrong with today?!"

I waited a bit thinking it might come back but I was wrong. Suddenly, my vision started to get blurry

Seriously what's going on? I just went to my room and ended up losing my
consciousness
