The principal came rushing out of the schools front entrance.

"What is the meaning of this! On the first day too!! Hunter, Wesley, and Kylie, to my office. Now!"

"But, but, but I wasn't a part of this!" I stammered back. The last thing I wanted to do was get in trouble on the first day of school. I had a feeling that wouldn't go down well with mom.

"I don't care. Go to my office before you get in more trouble than you already are!"

I reluctantly starting walking through the front doors of my school.

After half an hour of waiting I found out that Hunter got 3 detentions, Wesley got 5 because he was the one who apparantly started the fight, and luckily I only got 2.

We all got our schedules and lockers for the year, my schedule everyday was Math first period, English second period, Choir third period, Social Studies fourth period, Gym fifth period, and Science last period.

I decided I would get to math early and starting heading towards the math room.

I'm not what you would call a big "people person" so I was trying to avoid everyone as much as I could. As I was scurrying through the halls, I turned a corner and smacked hard into something which made me fall back on my butt. I looked up to see Hunter above me.

"Watch where you're going." He spat out at me.

"Excuse me?" I stood up and gathered my math books. "You shouldn't be the one mad at me after what you did this morning. I got 2 detentions because of you!"

"Because of me? Well maybe if you stay out of everyone's damn business all the time then you wouldn't of gotten in trouble!

"Okay. You know what? I dont have time for this. I'm going to class."

I made it to the math room without any more interruptions and sat down in the desk farthest away from the door and teacher.

The bell rang signalling the start of this period.

"Good morning class! In case some of you don't know me, I'm Mr. Troutman," everybody snickered at that, "and I will be this years math teacher for yo-"

His words were quickly cut off as the door flew open and Hunter was standing there in all his glory.

"Mr. Adams, how nice of you to join us." Mr. Troutman sarcastically said which made me smile.

"My pleasure Sir." Hunter smirked at him and looked around to find a seat.

My happiness suddenly came to a holt when I realized one of the only two seats left was right behind me. I was secretly praying he wouldn't pick the seat behind me, but my luck was of no avail today as he moved through the desks straight towards the desk behind me and sat down in it.

Mr. Troutman started talking about what his course was going to be like and blah, blah, blah.

"Psssstt, Kylie" Hunter whispered in my ear.

I didn't even so much as blink to his interuption. So he tried again.

"Pssstt, Kylie!!" He said with more urgency.

"What!!" I whisper-shouted and turned around to face him.

"Oooh! Someone's on their time of the month." That made me even more frustrated.

"What the frick do you want Hunter!"

"I just wanted to talk to you jeesh woman!"

"Just leave me alone." I turned back around in my seat and focused back on the teacher who was currently reviewing some algebra thing from last year.

Ugh. These last 45 minutes are gonna drag on for an eternity!
