Natsu's POV

I looked around frantically, searching for someone. "----!" I shout. A woman spoke, but it was muffled. "I need to see ----, please!" I hollered desperately. The woman uttered something again. However, I didn't understand what she said. "Please, Levy! I'm sorry!" I cried out at her, and she turned away from eye contact, fading into the distance.

I sprang up from my bed. My arm reached out like I was trying to grab someone or something. I noticed that I had been panting, so I took a few deep breaths to calm myself down. I moved my blanket to the side and pushed my legs to stand up. Choosing to wear boxers to bed was a good idea because it was too hot when I woke up. Despite always loving the heat, it was a bit much this time.

I walked to my closet, finding a set of clothes to wear to school. Good thing it's a Friday, and I'm ready to just sleep and eat for the weekend. I don't have much planned for myself anyways.

Before putting my clothes on, I needed to shower quickly. My athletics coach made me do extra laps for getting in a fight with Gray. Honestly, that ice stripper can just go to hell, and he thinks he's better than me. Whatever, I always win our fights, and if someone says otherwise, I'll beat them up.

After my shower, I get dressed in ripped-up black jeans with a loose red shirt with a few burn marks at the trim of the neck. All I needed was my scarf to use as a headband. I keep looking until Happy comes up to the window. I say, "Hey, Happy. How are you doin', little bud?" Happy meows and purrs while rubbing against my hand. "Guess you want some food."

I grab Happy some fish and return to him with my scarf wrapped around him. I chuckled a little, giving Happy a smile, "Thanks for finding my scarf." I set the bowl of fish right next to the window. He moved with the scarf still attached to him. "Here, let me get that off of ya'." Happy hisses and hits my hand with his paw. "Jeez, fine. Just don't get it dirty."

I looked out the window and looked around. "Happy, do you think someone besides Lisanna is out there that's perfect for me?" Happy looks up and meows at me. I sighed and kept looking around. I looked at the people who passed by and looked at their hearts. It may seem weird, but everyone does it. Then, people suddenly started rushing. "Huh, what's up with them?" Suddenly, a hooded girl walked by.

I checked her heart, squinting my eyes. I was confused, "I don't get it, her heart is perfectly fine. Why was everyone running away from her?" The girl's heart looked perfect. However,  people may have perfect hearts but there are some people with coats on. Either have their hearts that are broken, or they are completely shattered. When they're completely broken, their heart is in pieces. It sometimes is difficult to tell the difference with contacts instead of the glasses. Most people have different ways of describing how to spot a coat with contacts in.

Happy looked up from his bowl and made his way down. He went up to the girl and rubbed up against her. "Hey! Happy you still have my scarf!" Happy ignored me, but the girl looked down at Happy.

The girl noticed the scarf, grabbing it out of curiosity. She bent down and started petting him. Happy does nothing and lets her do so. "Oh, so you let her touch my scarf but not me?" I say sarcastically. A gust of wind blew the girl's hood off, revealing her beautiful, tied-up blonde hair. Happy jumped onto her shoulder, my scarf falling off of him. The girl grabbed it before it hit the ground.

I moved away from my window and dashed to the front door. Opening it, I walk outside to the girl. "Hey!" I shouted. "Sorry about him. He usually doesn't go up to people much." The girl broke a small smile. "It's alright," she said softly. "Is this yours?" She lifted the scarf that hung in her hand. "Oh, yeah. Thanks."

"You're welcome," she gently picked up Happy off her shoulders and set him down on the ground. She bent down once more to pet him again. After that, she started walking away. "Wait!" I shouted, stopping her from leaving. "Um, what's your name?" Her eyes widened a bit. I guess she was surprised someone asked her that. "My name is Lucy," she responded. "Yours?"
