Why did I title this story "the mind a delusion" .Yes it's a curious title but it's something that you might not have thought of .Let me give you an, example say you are holding a pen now visualize the pen falling from your hand to the floor. Now imagine I told you that the pen never really fell. What would your reaction be.I would say that you would be shocked because you know that it fell from your hand and you heard it hit the floor. Now what if I told you to visualize a pen falling from your hand on to the floor but this time you are in a deep conversation and you aren't really focusing but you dropped the pen but you'll never be able to see if it fell or hear if it hit the ground. Now do you think that it really hit the ground. You might say yes but if you had to think of every variable that was available, you might change your answer because there alot of variables that could stop the pen from hitting the ground. For example say someone caught it just in time but you would never see it or hear.
While you were reading the story you might have imagined all of that happening. Now hearing that it never really hit the ground how does it make you feel. What if anything you ever did had been affected by any variable but your brain doesn't interpret that information. How would you feel knowing that something may have happened and your brain never really interpreted that information.
What if it made you do something that you would have never done if your brain used all the information and put all of it together maybe you would be in a different place as you read this this story.
