I informed the people that the mayors perished in an attempt to murder me because, very frankly, my guards and protectors defended me. They weren't too unhappy , since they realized that if that was the case, I had the right to kill them. Some of them were unhappy, alleging that I did it because I'm a tyrant and went to eliminate every piece of authority that isn't mine, which is obviously false and makes no sense. However, some of them believe this. I'll let them think that since I don't care at this point. They're still theorizing on their own, so I might as well let them. Anyway , back to the war. We're still winning by a large margin, having eliminated nearly half of their army. Aliki is back on the battlefield, assisting her warriors from close range, while remaining at the back of the battlefield and avoiding contact with the enemy. We had discussed earlier that day about her being too brave to be out there with the rest of them, but she said she just wants to help as much as she can and isn't afraid of the battlefield. She was quite brave. I could see her running around, offering any assistance she could. Until one day I couldn't see her anymore.I assumed she walked a little further and didn't worry too much about it, but when night arrived and every soldier returned to take a break, she didn't return. I began to worry. Where could she be at this hour? She should've returned by now. I searched everywhere, even on the battlefield, but she was nowhere to be found. Where has Aliki gone? The next morning, I awoke in tears , as I had been crying all night hoping she was okay.
When I entered the battlefield, on that day, I noticed Aziel, who was carrying a female figure on his back like a potato shack in the distance and was approaching me. It was Aliki. It was definitely her. She was tied up and shaking. Her body looked lifeless, though I could tell she was alive. I yelled at Aziel "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER? BRING HER BACK"
Aziel smiled at me and got closer, carrying the poor girl on his back.
"Why hello Uta. I think I have something that belonged to you before."
"How did you even know about her?"
"You think I didn't notice a naive girl running around and healing your soldiers? That's cheating!" He whined. "My aid crew is at the back. Cheaters shouldn't have the chance to win!" He whined once more.
"Give her back!" I yelled at him.
"Sure. Under one condition."
"What is it?"
"You sign peace with me."
"What? Why?!"
"Because I don't want to lose the rest of my army! I admit I'm losing so I wanna end this in peace!"
"I can't do this to my people! They sent their families to the war and we've lost a good bunch of them! I can't just stop the war for peace and let their lives go to waste for nothing!"
"It won't be for nothing! It will be for peace!" He claimed.
"The war is happening for the territories, Aziel. You need to listen to me, we can't sign peace."
"Fine ! Then you'll receive her dead body soon!" Aziel stated and stared at me with the most annoying smile.
"No! Do not touch her!"
"You have til tomorrow to decide on what to do. For now I retreat. Let's go." He says to his soldiers and they all leave along with lifeless Aliki.

Aliki opened her eyes to notice Aziel looking at her. She could see his nerves and veins. She quietly turned her head towards him. "I bet you look so so ugly." She said. Aziel gasped and leaned back on his chair. He played with his hair as he spoke.
"...How dare you!So your name is?"
"Why?" She asked.
"Just wanna get to know each other!"
"Let me go!" She starts shaking in order to move but can't.
"Nope! I won't do that!" He smiled and shook his legs playfully while sitting on the chair.
"I bet you're so so ugly even your mom left you!"
"She did! But that doesn't have to do with anything!" He whined.
"Sure. What do you want from me anyway ugly ass?"
"I want the war to end. I'm losing and it's not fun anymore!"
"You sound like a bitch. I hate you, haha!" She chuckled.
"So you captured me to threaten Uta to give me back? Do you think he will care enough about me to stop you from losing? He's done everything in his power for him to win this war, you can't expect him to stop it just for a woman!"

"Alright. Give her back. War is over" I said, finalising my answer.
"Yay!" Aziel clapped his hands and handed me a piece of paper to sign. I read everything, even the small letters. Nothing unusual, simply a piece of paper to end the war and live in peace for at least a hundred years if I signed it. I took out a pen and signed the document. After removing the chains from her body, I watched his guards bring out Aliki and deliver her to me. She instantly stood up, approached me, and pinched my butt once again , in front of everyone.
"You shouldn't have agreed." she said whining.
"And I would not let you die for whatever reason. Also can you stop that?"
"You're simply so silly, hehe." She smiled at me. I took her in my arms and Aziel left. The war was over. Which wasn't good. I did have Aliki back but it was time to face the concequences.

Me and Aliki went back to the castle and we took a bath. She helped me soap my hair and brush my body. It had been a while since I took a bath so she forced me to hop in as I "stank", which I disagreed with but we can't please everyone I guess. I got inside the bathtub and she sat in a chair in front of me and took a soap, the brush and a bucket of water and started pouring water on me. I sat there thinking about my people who were surely about to complain that I stopped the war. Aliki noticed how quiet I probably was and poked me on the forehead.
"What are you thinking about, silly?" She asked and tilted her head.
"Nothing...I'm just scared."
"What are you scared of?"
"The concequences."
"Everything will turn out fine."She said , yet she looked unsure.
"You probably are right..."
She was not. They were outraged with me. People were yelling at me and throwing things at my castle, such as paint, papers, and trash. My guards did everything they could to stop them, but almost a third of Gehenna's population was gathered outside and creating a racket. I couldn't sleep at night, and I couldn't complete anything peacefully. This was going on for about a week. I signed up for peace, but this was war, with my people opposing me. I stood out at the balcony for a bit to talk to them.
"People! I am here. I am here to tell you everything you need to know" I said , in fear since I didn't know how to exactly explain myself. What could I possibly tell them? That I chose a woman over the respectful death of their families? I would be outraged too. And as expected , everyone started yelling things starting from "fuck you" to "We hate you" to "Die."
"We heard you did this for a girl. Is that true?!"
"Yes. I did this for my advisor Aliki."
Especially because of that answer, they got furious. But I was emperor. I was supposed to be honest to them about what I do. Even though my hate for being an emperor grew stronger every day.
"We want her dead!"
"Let her perish!"
"My son died for her!"

As panic took over, I attempted to calm myself down.

"WE WANT HER TO DIE!" "WE WANT HER DEAD" they all screamed from the bottom of their hearts. It was deafeningly loud. I dashed inside when I noticed Aliki, who was visibly unhappy.

"I told you you shouldn't have agreed." She said and faced her head towards the door of the balcony. She looked skeptical.
"I won't let them do anything to you. Do not worry"
"That's not what I'm worried about."
"Then what is it?"
"I'm worried they will want to take you down.."
"Well you can't exactly commit genocide now , can you? So calm down"
"I wish I could.. I hate them.. All of them ungrateful people. You've done so much for them and they treat you like this because you ended a war in peace.."
"It technically means their families died for nothing. Think about it from their point of view. I hate them too but they're right for this one..."
"You're right." She replied. "I wish I could just kill them all. All of those outside your castle right now."
"Yet you won't."
"I won't."
The panic never left my body. I spent the whole day panicking and trembling , forcing Aliki to take care of me that way. She injected me with shots to calm me down, which helped but I was still upset. Everything was falling apart just because I didn't sacrifice her. My people hated me and Aliki thought it was all her fault.
"You should be fine" She said. "I'll find a solution" She said. I didn't believe one bit. I thought I was done for. I went to sleep at night with her on my side, holding me in her arms and playing with my hair. "Sshh.. You're good. You'll be fine. Let me tell you something...If things go wrong, remember I'll always be by your side...Whether I'm here or not"
"You'll always be here..."
"I will always be here! Exactly, silly!"
And so we slept.
