There were many things the world kept me thinking over and over again. I had wondered why everyone exists or that somehow the world wanted me to exist. Why wouldn't she? She let me live.
It was the middle of midterm of my First year when I was sitting at the back of my new high school. I was the new girl again and should have tried fitting in, but that wasn't me. Instead, I sat at the back watching my new objects of interest while writing down notes madly on my own private notebook.
I was probably smirking on my own and probably my seatmate saw me but was polite enough not to comment. I was so engrossed with my subjects' action that I neglected my teacher's teaching. I was confident with my actions because no one would take notice to a geek girl like me, especially to a a girl wearing thick glasses with a gloomy appearance. No one talks to me except out of kindness or pity or whatever. And I LIKE IT.
You might had thought I was a creepy girl. But no. This was all me. I like hanging at the background, watching people and observing their selves. I jot down whatever I gathered from them and it made my day knowing I probably know more about their own selves or so I thought.
I watched, transfixed as subject A patted the shoulders of Subject B. Subject C watched subjects A and B with hidden jealousy. Based from C's knitted eye brows , tensed body and tight lips, I could say that she was thinking of A's death. C promised retribution mentally. I could feel C's dark desire and burning passion even though I sat 3 chairs behind. Subject A knew C was jealous and she liked that. B was so engrossed with A's attention that he never saw C's reaction.
"Ang ganda talaga ni Jessa at mabait pa", said Mark. My class neighbor. I was at the cafeteria eating alone while listening to the whispers and rumors. Lesson number 1, to become an efficient observant, one should never make an eye contact to everyone because if you did. You'd be caught.
Wrong
Jessa Maria Oliveros. (Subject A) .Beautiful and talented. Sayang lang walang utak. From what I had gathered, mabait siya at sweet. Apparently, ang term nila sa "flirt" dito ay "sweet". She had been getting well acquainted with subject B. In short: They are touchy-feely with each others. She was only kind to someone she likes or to others who doesn't know her. Pakitang-tao lang. I would't arrive to such negative conclusions if not when I got caught Jessa facing off Subject C. I swear her sudden sudden change of face creeped me the hell out. From a sweet timid girl to an evil incarnate.
"Mas maganda si May Ann but she hadn't move on yet", said the other guy. Sighing as if naman na concern. He wasn't based from the cruel grin he was wearing on his face.
May Ann Licos. (Subject C). Overbroad romantic and a total clingy. Masyadong nasaktan sa kanyang first break up. Mali kasi ang tinitignan na future. Rumors it has it na ready na siyang ibigay ang kanyang self sa guy kung pakakasalan siya nito. She's not really stupid just a moron in love kung sa test ba..failed na... She hated Jessa with a passion and claimed that Jessa stole her ex with her body. She was overly jealous and Jessa sickly liked May Ann raged with Jealousy.
"Kung ako si Jason, I would date them both," said another guy who was a pig.
Jason Myers.(subject B). The only half american of the whole school. Popular to the ladies and dated many girls since primary. Mysteriously, girls flocked him though he wasn't that good looking. I would know. He had many freckles and had small eyes. His nose was too long. Maybe because he's white. Of course I jotted down my educated guesses.
1. Girls like white guys- Filipinos were dark skinned and that makes us beautiful but because we happened to see white skinned human beings as our own object of fascinations which we often mistaken as love.
2. Because he's popular.- for some reasons, when the guy was liked by the popular ones then the other follows. Kung baga, magically naging gwapo siya. Kung crush niya ng iba . ...eh..di Crush din siya ng madla.
The said break up happened 2 months ago. It was Jason who ended it up because he caught May Ann cheating. May Ann claimed that it was misunderstanding but too late, Jessa was already looming.

I was at the back of the gym wiping my soaked sweat body. I was just getting back for PE when I caught a motion. I was at the corner hiding. I watched as Jessa slapped May Ann and laughed.
"Akala mo maniniwala sila. NOOO.. You dont get a chance! I mean, I don't want Jason at all coz he was not my type at first but when I stole him from you and slept with him..The look on your face was so worth it that having him was not so bad after all.!" Jessa laugh so evilly that I thought she was someone else.
May Ann pathetically whimpered while touching her sore cheek. She tried to say something but a strangled sob came out. She was glaring at Jessa in a promise of murder while the enemy wallowed at her prey's misery. The manic gleam of Jessa betrayed her cute and sweet appearance.
"I know they wont! Coz u got hold of half of the guys here. And how? You spread your legs! I love him! We were perfect for each other. If only you're out of the picture! How about do me a favor and get lost.. why can't you just leave and maybe sleep with the other student at the other schools? you're good with that! Slut!", May Ann finally replied.
Wow.. This is freaking awesome. I found Jessa cunning and May Ann annoying but these changed my outlook on them. They were both dirts on the society. No uses for the Country.
And interesting.
There were lots of curses thrown back and forth and wow.. They were tearing each other apart. There were shout..scratches.. May Ann pulled a hell of a punch to Jessa. It hit her nose. Jessa touched her nose and found it bleeding. She looked at the blood and then to May Ann. That was when she aimed for her throat. She was trying to get a hold of her and choke the living out of her and I never stop looking at them.
May Ann caught the straight long hair of Jessa made a grab for it and slam her head in the tiles. Jessa cried out of pain and pulled out a pen from nowhere-from her pocket in her skirt probably- and made a slash.
