Platform nine and three quarters was very busy on the morning of September one.
"Come on dears, we are going this way," Announced Mrs. Weasley.
Mrs. Weasley was a plump woman with curly orange hair. She was the kindest person Y/n had ever met.
"Okay Percy, you first," Said Mrs. Weasley
Y/n watched in amazement as Percy ran straight through the solid brick wall.
"Fred, you next."
"I'm not Fred, I'm George," Exclaimed one of the Weasley twins.
"Honestly woman, you call yourself our mother," the other twin said while rolling his eyes.
"Sorry, George dear."
Y/n giggled, she had always found the Weasley twins funny.
"I'm only joking, I am Fred." Said the boy as he started to run at the brick wall, his twin following close behind him.
After a few moments, Y/n heard a quiet voice behind her.
"Excuse me?"
Y/n turned around as her eyes locked with a pair of emerald green ones. There standing in front of her was a small raven-haired boy. He looked nervous. Y/n blushed slightly, breaking eye contact with the boy.
"Hello dear," Mrs. Weasley said cheerfully. "First time at Hogwarts? It's Y/n and Ron's first year too."
Ron and Y/n both gave the boy warm smiles.
"Yes, it's my first year," the boy said quietly. "The thing is, I don't know how to-"
"How to get onto the platform?" She said kindly.
The boy nodded.
"Not to worry, all you have to do is walk straight into the brick wall. Don't stop and don't be scared. Best to do it at a run if you're nervous."
"Er- okay," said the boy looking slightly confused. He stared at the barrier for a second before running and disappearing through it.
Mrs. Weasley turned to Ron, "I'll miss you dear, be good and have an amazing year."
Ron smiled and nodded then ran through the barrier.
"Oh Y/n," Mrs. Weasley opened her arms up for a hug. "I am going to miss you so much. Your parents would have been so proud."
Thinking about her parents made Y/n sad. She missed them to death. Oftentimes she would cry herself to sleep thinking about all the memories they had together.
"Have a good year dear, and make sure Ron doesn't get into too much trouble" Mrs. Weasley grinned
"I'll keep my eye on Ron," I said giggling. "Bye Mrs. Weasley I'll miss you." Y/n turned to the brick wall and ran as fast as she could. She closed her eyes as she approached the wall but she felt no impact. When she opened her eyes again she was looking at a beautiful red train. The Hogwarts Express. She ran towards the train trying to catch up with Ron "Ron wait!"
Ron stopped in his place and turned around "Hurry up Y/n I'm not trying to miss the train."
"Don't give me sass Ronald!" Y/n hissed as she caught up with him. Y/n knew how much Ron hated getting called by his first name.

Ron and Y/n walked around the train trying to find a compartment
"Hey Y/n, what about in here?" Ron pointed to a compartment with a boy sitting in it. He was alone.
"Isn't that the boy we saw earlier?" Asked Y/n.
