Long night

"This is ridiculous, why are most of the shops closed? It's Christmas time." Ari said frustrated.
The girl was in pain and it's taking too long for them to find a shop which is open.

"Love, it's because of the snow, all shops are mostly closed today." He can clearly see how her features look down and her whole body contorted in pain, he squeezed her hand in assurance and added, "Don't worry, we'll find one soon enough. There's always 24 hours Pharmacy, we can search for it."

And he was right, soon enough he was able to track down an open pharmacy nearby and drove there. When he stopped the car, Ari was in a sleepy state, so he went in to get the supplies himself.

Ari felt something warm on his abdomen. She rubbed her eyes and moved her sight to look around and spotted her boyfriend on the driving seat, watching her fondly.

He was looking so hot with a hoodie on, his cheeks red because of the cold and the fluffy bed hairs, "How handsome."
An instant chuckle was heard from him, he brought up his palm to place it on her right cheek, his cold hands sending a jolt to her body, that's when she realised he was feeling cold.

"Are you alright? Why are your hands so cold?" Now that she thinks about it, she's feeling quite warm, she moved her gaze from where the heating is getting spread in her body. A heating pad was placed on her abdomen area.

"It's nothing to worry about, I went outside to get the sanitary napkins and the heating pad, that's why my hands are a bit cold."

Taehyung did that for her, she feels so lucky to be with him. She can't believe that's the guy she didn't trusted enough, she feels so guilty about it. Blame it on the fluctuating hormones that she's feeling a bit emotional about it which led to her eyes getting watery.

"Hey, love. What's wrong? Why are you crying?" Taehyung placed both his palms on her cheeks cupping her face.
"I'm sorry, so sorry. I should've told you sooner, I just... I don't know what I was thinking." He wasn't sure but soon connected the dots and understood what the girl was talking about. Immediately scooping her in his arms and holding her from waist to make her sit on his lap. She complied so easily like a vulnerable person, he treated her with care.

"Stop crying, we already talked about this. Let's forget about it ok." He tried to console her and rub off her tears with his thumb. Finally when she calmed down, she realised how easily her boyfriend picked her up, kissed her forehead and is caressing her thighs, making her feel more flustered making her hide her face into the crook of his neck.

Taehyung let out a chuckle at the girl acting all shy with him, he thinks she looks so cute like a baby, his baby. He just let her do whatever she wants, taking in all the heat she's giving him. After sharing the warmth of each other, she faced him, and kissed him which he reciprocated with the same passion. Before things starts getting heated, they broke the kiss to rest their foreheads together.

"Wait a second, what are we still doing here?"
"Well, the thing is, something's wrong with the car, it's not getting start, I've called the mechanic and also asked my driver to get a new car, but because of snow it might take some time."

"What?"
"The car-"
"No, I heard what you said. You mean to say that we're stuck here in the car god knows for how long till someone comes to pick us up?"
"You don't have to say it like that, it's just few hours."
"Are you kidding me? Now that I think about it, the car is starting to get cold."

Taehyung was just bewildered, "You we're feeling warm a minute before."
"Yah! That's because of the heating pad, we'll get cold like this."
"I'm sure you won't considering we've jackets and all- "
"Are you saying that I won't know if I'm feeling cold." The glare sent towards Tae just made him shut up. He can't believe the mood swings his girlfriend is going through. She was crying before, shy a moment ago and now she's angry.

"Are you listening? I'm saying that we should have just brought up my car."
How does bringing up her car solves the problem? Nope, he didn't stated it out loud. Instead, "Lets cuddle up with eachother, hmm? We'll both be warm like that." He can see through her so clearly, she was thinking about something.

"I think we should take a walk."
Oh how the emotions are getting changed.
"Huh? A walk? Won't you feel cold outside? Aren't you in pain?"
She lowly mumbled, just enough to make him hear that, "I'm craving ramen." Her eyes were not meeting his face, she was looking everywhere except for him.

And for the nth time, that night Taehyung had an urge to coo and laugh at the girl who was going through different emotions and expressions.
"Fine, let me see if there's any open store nearby or else we'll have to wait till the car comes."

To their luck, there was a local store open, five minutes walk from there. They were walking down the street, hands holding each other, all covered up in their winter clothes.
"The snow looks so pretty, let's make snow angels."
"But it's too cold."
"Love, do really want to miss the chance to play in the snow?" He held out his hand for her, "Come, I'll be your personal human heater later." His smile, the damm smile which can light up anyone's day, the eyes turning into a crescent moon made her accept.

They played in the snow for few minutes, laughing and the snow angel just got turned into a snow fight with the pain long forgotten. At a particular throw, the snow ball hit Tae's face and Ari rushed her steps to reach him.

"Are you okay? I'm sorry, does it hurt?" She asked to the boy rubbing his face with his palms.
"Got you." An excited yelp was heard from her when picked her up surprising her with his actions.

"Do you need more cheese?" Taehyung was heating up their ramen at the store. A small 'hmm' was heard from the girl who was sitting by the window, her face facing the glass looking at the snow outside.

"It's been so long since we enjoyed a night outside like this."
"Hmm, we can do it often if you want."
She gave him a smile, "Yeah, let's do that."
They both have been so busy with their schedules barely having time for each other, except for their monthly dates. Yes, it's a deal they've made when they started working. According to it, no matter how busy you are, you must go twice a month to a date. It can be anywhere and anything chosen by your partner.

Taehyung has already finished his date for the month when he hooked them both for baking classes, it was not a complete disaster but the cookies were not exactly in shape but they agreed it tasted good.
"Your date of the month is still left? Where are you taking me Arissi?" A teasing hint in his voice.
"It's a surprise, now that we've few days off, we can enjoy it our fullest." She said grinning from ear to ear.

And that's how they spend their night, reaching the house in the morning before Tae's parents get awake in each others embrace, cozying up taking in their body heat with cuddles, tired yawns making them fall into a deep slumber.
