You guys may be wondering what was going on with Odetta after the whole SA situation.

Well im here to tell you that it definitely wasn't easy for her.

Every night she has constant nightmares about it. She was constantly terrified of seeing him again everywhere she went. She never went anywhere alone. She always went with one of her friends.

She always made some excuse that she just didn't want to be alone in silence wherever she went, or that she wanted company just because, but her friends knew the real reason. None of them said anything about it though, as they didn't want to work her up.

Of course she was slowly getting better, but the word slowly can always be perceived differently amongst others.

So take it how you want, but she didn't get over it easily.

Her friends had went to Dumbledore and told him about the situation just the day after the incident. Dumbledore said he would take care of it, and let them be.

We all perceive Dumbledore differently, so I'll leave you guys to wonder just how he "took care of it".

Everyone thought Dumbledore was trustworthy. I mean Hogwarts was the safest place ever to be, being run by the most powerful wizard of time. Of course nothing could go wrong inside those walls.

But only those who've graduated would know otherwise. They would know of the foul things that Dumbledore has done. The foul things that have taken place just inside those castle walls. The foul things that have been done, seen, said. And yet only those who'd experienced it would know the full potential to the words im saying.

But you, reader, must be wondering what exactly im talking about. You must be wondering why all of a sudden im droning on about Dumbledore when this is supposed to be about Odetta.

Yes, of course, this has always been about Odetta. But Dumbledore has a big role in the events that have taken place before in her Hogwarts studentry years.

But no more about Dumbledore, or Odetta. Let's go into the view of James Potter.

~

When he found out that Lily truly had a boyfriend, and Odetta wasn't merely telling a fib, he was astounded. dumbfounded. flabbergasted. any word you can think of.

Actually no, no word that you could ever imagine could describe the way he was feeling.

He was truly heartbroken after hearing the news from a classmate just mere days before. Of course, though, he kept a tough front, and didn't let anyone know the feelings he was truly experiencing.

He was the only one who knew she had a boyfriend. Nobody else except for a few other students. That's why he had to allow Odetta to stay, of course, because if he said no to a "date" with Lily, then she would begin to wonder what was wrong. Because, of course, this is James Potter we're talking about. The James Potter everyone knew and love would never reject anything in the name of Lily.

That's why on the train, Lily had to act annoyed. Of course, she was, because this was the "arrogant toe rag" we were talking about. The Lily Evans everyone knew and love would always reject anything in the name of James Potter.

She thought he didn't know. But he knew everything.

Again, nobody could ever give a word to describe how truly hurt James Potter was. That was the girl he'd been pinning over for 4 years. It takes every emotion you could ever fathom to be able to only be attracted to.. no, love one and only one person for that amount of time. Of course, if it were reciprocated, then you could love anybody for any amount of time and only feel a handful of emotions throughout it.

When it's unrequited, you feel every emotion. Joy, Sadness, Fear, anger, disgust and more.

Pleasure, happiness, amusement, pride, awe, excitement, ecstasy.

Lonely, unhappy, hopeless, gloomy, miserable.

Worried, anxious, scared, nervous, panic, stress.

Annoyed, frustrated, bitter, infuriated, mad, insulted, vengeful.

Dislike, revulsion, nauseated, aversion, offended, horrified, and I could go on.

He'd felt every one of those words, and more, when pinning over her.

Of course, he thought that maybe she would just consider being with him. Just for one moment. That she had to consider the time and effort he put into her and only her. He never looked at other girls the way he looked at her. He never gave any other girl attention like he did her. And yet, she still chose someone else.

And yet never once did the word selfish cross his mind. Did he ever think he was selfish? This is James Potter we're talking about. No.

And you, reader, may be wondering why im talking about his emotions over his heartbreak so much.

It's because when you experience heartbreak, or go through unrequited love, it's different. And I don't mean someone you like doesn't like you back. I don't mean when your crush dates someone else. I mean when someone you love, dates someone else. When someone you love, doesn't love you back. When someone you put so much time and effort into, doesn't care. And yes, of course, they don't have to love you back like you love them. They don't have to give every ounce of themselves to you just because you want them. But it still hurts when they don't.

Someone who has never experienced true heartbreak, or unrequited love will never understand the depth of my words. They will never understand what it feels like to have that one person. That one person that you were so devoted to, throw it all away like they don't care. Because 9 times out of 10, they don't. They don't care for you, and they don't care about everything you went through for them. They don't consider how you feel, and they don't consider the times you've cried. And they don't consider the times you've smashed holes in your wall because of them. They don't consider the gifts you got them, or the times you tried to turn their attention to you.

But that one time. Just that one time, it will happen. They will care for you, and care about everything you went through for them. They will consider the times you've cried. They will consider the amount of times you've smashed holes into your wall because of them. They consider the gifts you got them, and the times you tried to turn their attention to you.

But unfortunately, for James Potter, this was not the case.

So all he was left to do was sit and wallow by himself, attempting to think of a devious act to do, to maybe, just maybe, make Lily consider him for a change.

And after awhile by himself that night, after everyone had gone to bed, he'd thought up the perfect plan.

He was going to make Lily love him one way or another, even if that way was to make her jealous of him and her best friend.
